Congrats on your new and first Prince! Since the egg hatched on catstaff's scroll, this baby's points will be calculated according to the Rose Clan's point system so he gets 1 point instead of 3 (which would be the case if the egg had hatched on a Sky Clan member's scroll). Only Green consorts / concubines earn points for the Jade Clan. Thanks for announcing them to the Imperial Court, though! (: They have lovely lovely names. 

 

And yes, as long as they follow the naming convention, they can gain points!

I have question about this egg is 5G but the 2G pairing is not mine so does that mean I don't get points for it being a 5th generation stairstep?
I think I get the points since I'm the one who bred it though?

 

Second question: Are there any rules against breeding these two (5ERZz & 7Zl9t) if I wanted to connect their lineages? I was thinking if my egg hatches red it would look nice, though I'm not sure I actually do want to link the two.

As long as you're the one who bred the 5G (ie the egg is laid on your scroll), you can get the points for it.

There's no hard rule against the pattern, but I'd prefer if there's no inbreeding (ie both eggs should not be descended from the Imperial Emperor). If it's a cross between the Heavenly x Sacred lines, that's okay. 

 

(I wanted to look at their lineages but DC is down for maintenance at the time of my posting).
