Posted December 21, 2017 Yeah, I usually use Allure and Silvi's, have been for years. They are both fairly reliable. Share this post Link to post

EATW is the only one I've ever used... and am still planning on using it when it chills out. Where can they go to be hatched quickly enough where i don't have to leave them in for long and can fog them asap? I'm so worried. DragHatch, Allure of the Neglected, the Hatching Club, Valley Sherwood, and Silvi's Lair are the ones I plan on using. Just keep an eye on your eggs while they hatch. Share this post Link to post

There's also Silvi's Lair, and Valley Sherwood, and probably others I don't know about. Can confirm that Valley Sherwood has been working fine for the time being. I added all of mine once they hit 5 days and they're a little on the low side (between 142-322 views), but they don't seem to be in any danger of being sick. I also warded them right when I added them. I'll probably be adding to another hatchery when it gets closer to time to hatch, though. Share this post Link to post

I think the holiday spinoffs are the best parts of the holiday events because they add an extra minigame that adds fun and creative depth to the holiday event. That's fine.. but I would think making sure the core gameplay of your site works for the holiday should be the first priority. If he couldn't manage everything, he shouldn't have. Posted December 21, 2017 So there should never be a holiday event again because sometimes there are glitches and issues? Wow, that would suck. I will take all the glitches and keep the holiday events, thanks. Unless the site simply isn't working at all, I see no reason to make such a big deal about glitches that we know he is already aware of. Share this post Link to post

But TJ for the most part has shown over the 9 years I've been playing that he fixes things as quick as he can. I've always been impressed for how well the site runs given that its a free game. It would be a disservice to other users and to the hard work of others here to say that if Mini-Game X isn't perfect on day one, then it should never exist ever. Share this post Link to post
Posted December 21, 2017 I am finally back into the swing of things with the return of my laptop, which means there's more Hollies to pass around <3 Since its difficult to tell who still needs a Holly in this thread I'll be announcing my gifts in the Community Notice Board thread for those to be made aware that there are efforts being made to help others and for those to get a chance at a Holly. I may not be able to get to everyone but I'm going to try my best to see to it that as many users as possible get their special Holiday egg. So keep a look out! Its been a treat gifting to people so far, I look forward to helping many others. Share this post Link to post
Posted December 21, 2017 Thanks for being so generous, DarknessDragon! I still need my 2 Hollies, but I won't be free to pick up an egg for another... 6 hours at least. I'll keep an eye out if I have trouble catching! Share this post Link to post
Posted December 21, 2017 I just realized that DC totally messed up my nap plans, lol. I've been sick, and around noon I had planned to take a nap for awhile... It is currently 5:19pm and no nap has been had. Between refreshing the biome, refreshing the forum and reading new posts, reading new posts on the Facebook group... Time flew. Posted December 21, 2017 Eeek... I'd say take care of yourself, Marie19R, but I'd be a hypocrite then. Holiday madness is hard to ignore even when under the weather... Share this post Link to post

I'm saying that any glitches that happen with the holiday games aren't as important nor do they count as controversies because they're an optional part of the game. Anybody who complains about a bug in a holiday game should sooner be complaining about actual game glitches or gameplay decisions. Share this post Link to post
Posted December 21, 2017 But not all "actual game glitches" affect all people. If a user is only affected by the game bug, of course they will complain about that more then about a bug that hasn't affected them. And honestly I don't see bugs as "controversies" at all, they are simply an issue that some people experience that needs to be fixed. A controversy is more like whether the limits are a good thing or not, or the V-day dragon being changed, etc. But I guess we just have different definitions of controversy. Not everyone has to play the same game the same way, and while dragon collecting is the primary focus of the game, that doesn't mean that any other portion of it is meaningless, even if it is meaningless to you. It takes all kinds to make a world - or a multiplayer online game In any case, we've got 12 months more to discuss how we want next year's CB release or CB limits to be different - assuming we'll even get a CB release in consecutive years. I can't control anyone else, but I'm going to sit back and enjoy this year's event before its over. Edited December 21, 2017 by Twimm punctuation Share this post Link to post
Posted December 21, 2017 Oh man, I thought the new Holiday biome for Christmas would be a lot like the Halloween one we got, in the sense that it'd always have eggs in it... If you're not in the biome every 5th minute then those bad boys are taken in like- less than the first minute. x'D Yikes. Here I was thinking: "Maybe sense we got another Holiday biome again, hollies will be easier to get!" BOY WAS I WRONG LOL!!! But seriously, good luck everyone. ;3; Share this post Link to post

Little distraction for 7 days at most. The last few times I've tried the site won't even load the 2015 valentines day event page. Can't even look at it. Share this post Link to post
Posted December 21, 2017 2 hours ago, reddof-f6 said: thats the point, if there was no sickness, then wheres the challange? I guess I just don't find it much of a challenge. It's just as easy to dump them in a hatchery at 6 days as it would be at 7. Once somebody tells you that the hatcheries aren't safe for the first 24 hours, you know it and it's never a problem for you ever again. That level of "challenge" does not seem worth the inherent problem of people having the ability to make each other's eggs sick on purpose. Share this post Link to post
Posted December 21, 2017 I don't want to repeat everyone else has already said here... BUT.... Still wanna say it... I'm just too HAPPY when I'm looking at my SO RAINBOW EGGY!!!!! Spoiler They all cracked.... THANK YOU TJ and STAFF... WE LOVE YOU!!!!!!! Share this post Link to post
Posted December 21, 2017 You can still play the last two year's RPG events: Share this post Link to post

I would love a way to go back and revisit the events again. I think there is a way to go back and play Valkemarian Tales again, but I don't remember what the link is. Some events, by their nature, you can't replicate, like the Valentines events where users sent things to each other. But I do really like when we're able to go back and look at the event. It would be fun to go back and play the Minesweeper game again, etc. I would fully support the idea of keeping those mini-games around on a longer basis. Share this post Link to post
