A discord group I am in started a revive of their old accounts and where asking people to click their eggs so I went ahead and joined too! 

In about a week I managed to get 3 hatched and just picked up two more. The concept seems pretty simple so I just gotta research dragon types.

I suppose aside from just promoting to get views for my hatchlings I need to work on trying to get a Magi dragon if I want to do trades.

Hello and welcome! The Dragon Cave Wiki is a great resource on dragon types, where they can be found, and artist information. The in-game encyclopedia also helps, but it doesn't fill up with information until you've collected a certain number of dragons for each species. Magi are pretty common, so you should be able to find them fairly quickly. Have fun trading!
