Yes to feed your eggs and hatchlings they need to be clicked and viewed to hatch and grow. If they don't get enough clicks and views they may become sick and/or die. It's good to meet you though! Welcome to the forums.

Click is not that necessary than views. You can use one of fansites to get views easily. My favorite one is AoND
