Posted September 5, 2017 (edited) So my subscription to ad removal just expired, and I attempted to renew it, but whenever I click on any of the "Buy Now" / "Subscribe" buttons, Paypal opens an error page saying "we were unable to decrypt the certificate ID." I'm not sure how long this has been a problem (my subscription literally only just expired) but hopefully this can be fixed quickly? Thanks! Posted September 5, 2017 That's interesting, as about half the links to scrolls or dragons posted on the forum are giving me an "unsafe - certificate is out of date - firefox will not load" (also happens on pale moon) - link, and I have to edit the address to force a load. That's because half of the links are posted with "http://dragcave.net" or just "dragcave.net" instead of "https://dragcave.net". The last is secure, but the others are not. I think most DC URLs redirect to the secure ones now, but if Firefox won't load it to begin with then it doesn't have a chance to. Looks like the only Paypal button working at the moment is the one month "Buy" one. Both of the "Subscribe" buttons and the one year "Buy" buttons give certificate errors. Those can probably only be fixed by TJ. Edited September 6, 2017 by 11th Share this post Link to post

Looks like it's been broken for a while... 17 hours ago, fuzzbucket said: That's interesting, as about half the links to scrolls or dragons posted on the forum are giving me an "unsafe - certificate is out of date - firefox will not load" (also happens on pale moon) - link, and I have to edit the address to force a load. That's unrelated, but also shouldn't happen. The current certificate is valid from July–October, so if you're getting that your computer's clock may be way off. 1 hour ago, 11th said: That's because half of the links are posted with "http://dragcave.net" or just "dragcave.net" instead of "https://dragcave.net". That's not how it works, really. The site transparently redirects most http requests to https, but accessing via HTTP wouldn't throw certificate errors since HTTP doesn't use certificates. It is spot on - I even considered rolling it back to get in. Share this post Link to post
