My very first gift BEFORE I joined the forums and BEFORE teleport. I met the gifter over an lj group for clicking dragons and when I mentioned I couldn't get a green Stripe she 'met' me over a chat client (can't remember which one) and counted down so I could grab her from the AP.

 

The only gift I ever got that way - oh the excitement.
