This is really weird but, I've only seen the one egg I've collected? It's been well over 10 minutes.

 

EDIT: Wait, nvm. Front page had nothing, biome did.

Eggs appear every randomly every 5 - 15 minutes. You weren't seeing an egg because the time wasn't quite up yet for another to appear. :3
