There was another book but I can't remember it for the life of me.

And then there were the Afrikaans books. Oh my word!! Those were so so so long!

Both.

We got the same lessons as what we got in English class.

Except it's all in Afrikaans and different books.

Thank goodness!

If I had to do idioms and write papers about books now I would fail badly!

What's RE?

They were a bit more strict with us. Unless it was a free-form writing

Religious education.

I never did very well with it (though I'm not sure how much of it was me and how much of it was the scatty teaching). In the final exam there was a section where you had to write your own thoughts on religion and I basically wrote an essay on how much I hated that people often only did good to buy their way into a better afterlife. People should do good because it's the right thing to do, not because they want to be rewarded. I ended up writing a lot more about it then I ever thought I would.

Anyway I got a B.

My final year of spiritual development we just had the home teacher in charge and hew as the most laid back IT guy. So he like barely paid attention to the stuff we did in class.

We only had Bible study in primary school.

And that's about it.

I went to a religious school, we had chapels and stuff.

Though SD we did learn about other religions, like the wonderful peyote way of jesus where you get high by drinking peyote.

They pulled Bible study out around 1995.

Mostly due to racism.

Man I'm hitting my snooze level now here at work!

Good morning, CPA! B)

*sets out coffee, teas, and lots of warm foods*

Spirit, can I please swap your warm for some of our cold? The cold front that arrived last night has made my house quite chilly.

CPA used to be in General Discussion until too many people were found to be using it to increase their post count. XD

Good luck getting yours up there, trystan.

I've had a day of sorting and organizing and haven't even yet touched the humongous pile of shop donations outside my office door (which has as its crowning glory a framed Peruvian tarantula...).

*was petted* hey :)

Ahh Star Wars... I’m hoping we might go see it on my sister’s birthday (20th) but that’s up to her. Maybe I should start talking about it now, y’know, plant the seed in her subconscious? ;)

Good luck with those donations Lagie!

Thanks, guys! I got maybe a third of them shifted to the shop, mainly the items that some of our staff are likely to rifle through. Hopefully, I will move the rest tomorrow.
