I think it was just a like a quiz thing or something. Not like a news segment or anything.

Ah.... But having a South African there wouldn't really surprise me.

My other friend who has immigrated to that side said he has met a few South Africans randomly there and even work with a few of them.

A lot of the people are immigrating now.

Even with the mishap with Amazon I may still have enough in the budget to go see it. Depends on what I can get my dad for Christmas (he's shot down every suggestion so far).

Cinema's is just to far away from where I live to do that.

And I don't like driving at night alone.

I've done a midnight viewing once... I think it was for one of the Hobbit movies.

Man the drive back was hard.

Yeah I usually get that the night before a super important day at work.

 

Holy fudge one of the locals schools is doing Animal Farm for Christmas. O.o

It's very twisted. The 1999 live-action version had me in tears (and the book was no better). 

 

I think one of the teachers hasn't read the story properly and just thinks it's about cute animals or something. Either that or it has been heavily censored. 

 

I mean, can you imagine a bunch of ten year olds acting out Boxer's last scene? Or what happens to Jess's puppies? Or what they do?

I didn't even finish the book in high school cause I got so upset.

 Now I'm wondering how the heck did I pass my final exams! O.o
