Posted July 20, 2019 Oh wow, the boss man himself showing up in this thread? Now I've seen everything. Today was a pretty nice day. The air is finally warming up over here in nowheresville -- or at least so they claim, mornings are still ice cold even when the temperature's around +18 Celsius and there's no wind to speak of. It's real nice to try to brush your teeth outside (no running water here) while you feel like you're going to freeze any second now. But I love this place, it's so quiet out here. Nothing but near-untouched nature all around us, plus a river running right next to our summer cottage. Fun fact: it's the longest river in Finland, called Kemijoki ("Kemi river"). Been going on for over a year and my kitchen wall is in disastrous shape, not to mention the mushrooms I've had growing from the kitchen shelves and the general moisture in the air that means my fluorescent light does not turn on properly. But it's alright, I got nothing but time up here... Listening to my favorite artists while waiting for dinner.
