I'm not sure what it all was about but the import of those phones has been stopped because there was a rumor that there is spy tech in the phone's. Posted July 15, 2019 It happened in May I think. I just got my new phone. A Huawei as well. I think the whole problem came with the updates and security features. Huawei makes use of Google App store for those updates. And most of the world uses Google App, but it's an American product or something like that. But I'm not worried.
