Posted July 16, 2018 British houses are ok in the winter because central heating is a thing (provided you can afford to keep it on) and they are built to keep the heat in. Summer is different. The house keeps the heat in and we tend to have no air con, so there's a chance that the more vulnerable of us can cook to death in our own homes. Share this post Link to post

Posted July 16, 2018 Aussie houses are not okay in the cold because they're made to handle the heat (they're not great in the heat either) Basically if it's hot, I'm hot. If it's cold, I'm cold. Heaters and icecream do what they can. Share this post Link to post

Posted July 16, 2018 It's been on TV a few times, but whenever I tried to watch it my mother would come in, say 'What's this rubbish you've got on?' and get me to change the channel into something she wanted.
