The northeast Bahamas is now under hurricane watch. The southern islands are being evacuated.

Damage in other countries that have already been hit is horrific. Irma is scary!

My mother is in North Carolina, on the SC border, one of the tracks that many forecasts are saying Irma might head.  I am concerned for her, even so far inland.

I'm in northern Texas, so the fear was for me earlier this hurricane season.  But all we got was a few bands of weak rain.  

 

Now the tables are turned.  On the plus side, she does live on the upper end of a hill . . .
