Posted February 5, 2022 I'm new to this whole thing so I'm not sure what exactly constitutes as great, but I found this 4th gen female Moonstone on the AP as a not-gendered-at-the-time hatchling that seemed pretty nice. All male Silvers and all female Moonstones in the lineage with, at least as far as I can tell (still new so not sure what exactly to look for aside from identical names in multiple places) no inbreeding; wound up being a female Moonstone in turn and thus kept up with the pattern so I'm not quite sure why she got dropped onto the AP. Possibly Earthquaked onto the AP for some reason? Or maybe her old owner tried turning her into a Neglected but failed and decided to drop her and try again? I want to say just under 5 days on her 'till maturation, to the point where she went from unknown to female within a few hours of my having her and putting her up on Silvi's Lair and Allure, so I assumed they wouldn't have intentionally gone through the effort (and taken up the scroll space) for hatching her and THEN dumping her after if the concern was getting a Silver, since the egg ought to show what species she was right from the get-go. Still, I'm definitely not complaining. Pretty lineage with some history to it (the oldest Gen-1 on there dates back to July 2011) with multiple different named/unhidden owners for different pairs, and Moonstone dragons do look nice on a scroll. Considering I've been hunting for hatchlings of all kinds on the AP alongside picking out CBs from the biomes for their BSAs (and keeping an eye out for rares, not that I've bumped into any I've recognized yet) to max out my scroll's growth/numbers so I can have more egg and hatchling slots, this was a wonderful catch. Edit to stay on topic: https://dragcave.net/lineage/M6Mp6 just snagged this hatchie off the AP a few moments ago. Second gen female Staterae that came from a male Celestial and female Staterae. Not exactly much of a lineage going on here yet, but I bet I could probably, get ahold of a CB female Staterae to pair with the CB male Celestial I snagged as one of my first four eggs if I did some digging around, and breed up a 2nd gen male Celestial to pair with this one, and keep one or two eggs for myself and release a few to the AP to continue the chain. (If I don't forget after a week or two. Oof.) Edit 2: apparently it wasn't a Staterae and the lineage just lied to me. Whatever, even the other Xenowyrms are still rares; I'll gladly take it. Well, AP is always full of wonders, for example I personally have seen CB and market hatchlings floating in AP, so that's definitely not too rare an occurrence. The person who hatched and abandoned the hatchling might also not be the same as the original owner who bred it (some people pick up AP eggs, incu hatch, then drop the hatchling back, this happen an especially lot when AP is lower timed) Share this post Link to post

I think I had a few more, but I've been trading and swapping, plus I usually hide the stuff I 100% intend to keep these days until they're close to growing up. (Like this lovely noodle.)
