Posted November 19, 2016 Oooh fun! This should be interesting~ I’d like to show off my cave! Landform: Basically one large cave system where each dragon can have their own lair if they wish, or they can live in the surrounding territories if communal living isn't their thing. Near: The main hub of the system is a small, unassuming chain of foothills situated on a boundary between a swath of the Alpine and Forest Biomes, however it branches out to somewhat connect to the other four Biomes. It started out natural but over time generations of my dragons have expanded it to its current proportions. Sections of Living Area: Most of it is either lairs of individuals/pairs or larger caves that serve as gathering places/storage/misc., however some of my fandom reference dragons have their own sections like my crazy, vain Bleeding Moons or the dragons who live in the Eastern and Western Camps, S.W.O.R.D agents have their headquarters, etc. General Temperature: Depends on where in the territory you are General Mood: Friendly and bustling with activity, though it's not totally without a darker side Other DragonAnimal Living Areas Nearby: nothing specific, really, the cats go where they want to and the wild animals roam free. Animals Permanently Nearby: Cats, of course, prey things like deer and bovines and such for the dragons to hunt, little forest animals like squirrels and bunnies, all sorts of birds, smaller predators such as wolves and wildcats occasionally. Essentially the sorts of forest creatues you'd find in "our" world, but probably with a Valkemarian twist such as unusual colors/patterns. Guardian Entrance DragonAnimal: Darkstone, a rather grumpy Nocturne is probably the one you'll notice, but in the shadows lurks a team of protectors led by a mysterious Guardian dragon named Coulsonshield. Most dragons never meet these protectors however, or even know they exist. Welcoming DragonAnimal: Definitely my Council of Elders (my first four dragons): Midnightgaze (a Storm), Crystalgleam (a Guardian), Roseheart (an Aria), and Butterflyflight (a Purple). The majority of my dragons are pretty friendly though and there's not really a specific "greeter". Sketch/Drawing/Pixel: lol I cannot art so hopefully words have explained pretty well. Haha. (I'll probably add on to this at some point but yeah, there you go. ) Share this post Link to post
Posted November 19, 2016 Lovely idea! I’d like to show off my cave! Landform: Atop the massive Alpine peaks lies a gaping opening scraped upon the rough-set silver stone. Within itself lies a turquoise glimmer whenever sunlight strikes for motives unknown to the common traveler. Unapparent to the naked eye, the cave itself transforms into a labyrinthine system within, spiraling into the base of the mountain into a different entrance embraced by thickset vegetation. Near: Frigid mountain peaks galore surround the main opening. The lower entrance is bound by rich, emerald-green woodland as far as the eye can see. Sections of Living Area: The Northern Cavern entrance brims with a pool of crystalline waters, casting a turquoise gleam as sunlight strikes. This aquatic dwelling is of unknown depth, ruling the cave's beginning for several miles as one of its largest sections. Once within, the cave is seemingly adorned with crystals galore, completely coated, from its high ceilings to its shimmering walls. The cave itself is unveiled to become several labyrinthine systems, diverging into a seemingly endless amount of paths once reaching the end of the crystalline pool. All paths lead to a diverse set of sub-caverns, each differing greatly depending on the creature(s) residing within it. From ice coated walls of a Frostbite dragon's abode to the moss covered dwelling of a Summer Seasonal, an entire world lies within. These spaces are bound with special mana which adapts to the dragon's preferences. The lower one travels the warmer the temperatures, and once having reached the Southern-most entrance it is revealed that there is an underground section as well, specialized for dragons of typically volcanic dwellings. General Temperature: The Northernmost point is stricken with intensely icy temperatures whilst the Southernmost is in possession of a pleasantly warm climate. General Mood: Industrious, lively and independent. Other DragonAnimal Living Areas Nearby: Upon the Alpine: a small collection of Frostbites alongside a colony of playful Tan Ridgewings. In contrast, the forest entrance is teeming with life, creatures of all kinds residing within the rich woodland. Animals Permanently Nearby: A collection of Seawyrm pygmies in the north and Magelight pygmies in the south. Guardian Entrance DragonAnimal: A pair of those most powerful hold vigil to the north, a ferocious Brute dragon named Cruor accompanied by a perilously ill-tempered Nexus dragon called Destruye. The Southern point is in within the obligations of an even larger than usual Plated Colossus named Existencial and an imposing Guardian known by the name of Simbol. Welcoming DragonAnimal: North point: A kindly White dragon named Seraph. South point: An Anagallis with an undeniably charming demeanor known as Althea. Sketch/Drawing/Pixel: North Entrance / Crystals of The Cave / South Entrance / Sub-cavern [Frostbite Dragon Example] / Sub-cavern [summer Seasonal dragon example] *Note: I don't own any of these images, they have simply been used as reference. Posted November 22, 2016 I could probably do some small pixels for people, indoors or outdoors. Not sure how helpful it'll be since it's so tiny, but hey, better than nothing. ^^ (And signature-sized!) I did yours to start, Yip, using your art as reference. ^^ Share this post Link to post
Posted November 22, 2016 Ah, Toodles, that sounds great! I need to make artist forms, though. Let me work on that after I eat breakfast, then you can fill that out and I'll add you xP Share this post Link to post
Posted November 22, 2016 I’d like to become an artist! Type of art: Pixel Example of art: Here! Thing(s) I will not draw/paint/etc.: I'd rather avoid dragons and stick to landscapes/interiors, but I can try. ^^ Limit of how many I can make in a week: I'll be safe and say 3, but it all depends on my mood, I could end up doing 10 People who request me must have: N/A Time it takes for me to get each one done: 2-3 hours. Size of my art: Signature sized (100x50) Other things: All of them will probably have some tiny animation if I can think of anything ^^ Share this post Link to post

Posted March 5, 2017 I have a question: What if your scroll's locations are not localized? Using my own scroll as an example, rather than having a single cave I have various locations scattered throughout the world, from the wastes beyond Nworset City in the northwest, Eastwall Forest to the far east, all the way south to a family of yulebucks living on permanent sea ice near the south pole (though some are a minor locales). That would be Nworset City/Nworset Wastes, Mistshire Valley/Sunbeam Woods, Voiceless Desert/Bleeding Hart Volcanoes, Madder Jungle, Glauccus Bay, South Sisters Islands/Eye of the Storm, ._@sub and possibly that unnamed place with the ice nebula and skywings. ...So that's 8-11 major locations, classified loosely by population. Should I fill out a separate form for each of them? Should I limit myself to one or a few - using some criteria such as population or favoritism to choose? I don't really want to make a post as long as a fully-stretched-out xenowyrm... Share this post Link to post

I don't really want to make a post as long as a fully-stretched-out xenowyrm... Same. I have my main group, Australis, which is quite extensive and covers a wide variety of territory. I also have Borealis, which is mostly made up of cold-loving/tolerant dragons and is nomadic in the far north/tundra area. I also have clan Undarum, which is made up of sea-dwellers that don't really have a truly localized area. They only have a group of sea-caves which they nest in. Share this post Link to post
Posted March 5, 2017 Also same. My dragon's center of their territory is the entrance of a small town. And some of them share the same nest at the center, the others live in random places. Share this post Link to post
