Posted February 16, 2017 Happy Valentine's Day! The kingdoms and towns of Mysgardia are all celebrating this holiday dedicated to love. The streets of the Mysgardian Kingdom have been flooded with rose petals, while houses have been adorned with all manner of red, pink, and white decorations. Not only is this a time for lovers to warmly embrace, but so too are friends and family enjoying each other's company and appreciating one another by giving gifts of devotion. But of course, while the regular townsfolk are having their festivities, what of you mages who protect and explore the lands of Mysgardia? Well, Mysgardia has two special gifts for you! First, Fawna's pet shop has received a shipment of creatures from faraway lands. It's available for 500 gold per egg until March 2nd. These creatures are currently not capable of breeding. Enchanted Heart Plushpup "This pink egg feels soft and plush like a pillow." In addition to the return of the Enchanted Heart Plushpups you'll find some special items dropping in all of the biomes for the next couple of weeks (from now until March 2nd). These sweets can be crafted together to create a special confection to be given to your cuddly little Plushpups and give some pretty adorable results! The recipes are as followed: + = (Raspberry Truffle + White Ganache Truffle = Chocolate Swirled Praline) + = (Chocolate Swirled Praline + Heart Bonbon = Strawberry Heart Bonbon) --- I'd also like to take a moment to address site updates and events. For any of the oldies, you probably recognize this event from last year, there are a couple of reasons for this. For starters, the site is still under some heavy reconstruction, we're basically planning to launch a Mysgardia 2.0, it'll still be the same site you know and love but with a lot of improvements to make it more enjoyable and easier for you to use. Unfortunately, this is something that'll take us some time and for the moment we're not actively advertising or drawing in many new members and as a result, we don't want to release new exclusive creatures to just a handful of people, there's just too many issues that'll arise in the future. To fully tailor Mysgardia to the wants and needs of you, the users, we ask you to please fill out a short questionnaire. It would really help us out. After all, there's no point in making a site which is perfect for teenagers if you're all in your late twenties, or the other way around, etc. etc! All responses to the questionnaire are completely anonymous. Some of the questions may be somewhat personal; we have absolutely no way of knowing who answered what, so be as open as you feel comfortable. Posted August 1, 2017 Today is the first day of August and you know what that means: yes indeed, it's time for a new release! This month you may think you already know them... but do you really? New Ferrose variations are now available in not one, not two, not four, but six locations! Yes, you read that right: six new Ferrose variations! Start by looking for them in biomes which didn't already have a Ferrose. Make sure not to skip the Ruins! Then, make your way to the shops to see if they have something new for you... I heard Fawna whispering about the Ferroses and the Black Market seems to have set up shop for the week as well. Posted July 21, 2018 Enchanted Summer Plush Pup! Because late is better than never... We already had an Enchanted Spring Plushpup, and Enchanted Autumn Plushpup, and an Enchanted Winter Plushpup... and logically, a Summer version should have been released at the start of the summer season. Except, we forgot. Yep, no excuses or bugs or glitches... we just plain forgot. Oops! But it's here now, so head on over to Fawna's Pet Shop to get yours right away! Posted August 6, 2018 Happy August! Here is the newest creature found in Mysgardia! "This rather large egg is floating slightly above the ground." These large new creatures can be found gently drifting around the Cold Biomes. They're pretty big and easy to see, so they shouldn't be hard to find! Thanks to Rhynn for working on them! Posted September 2, 2018 As it's already the first of the month again, it's time for a new release! The tiny protrusions on this egg seem reminiscent of small horns. Find this beauty in the Black Market, where it can be purchased for 2500 gold. Additionally, there's a new potion available at Akiko's Elixirs! The Draught of Gender can be purchased for 7500 gold, and is guaranteed to switch the gender of the creature you use it on to the opposite of what it already was.
