Posted October 29, 2016 Alchemist Fortis reporting in. So far, experiments have shown that healing potions made with white dragon down, silver powder, and ginger seem to be somewhat effective at combating the disease. Still, further experiments need to be done. Possibly with ground mana crystals. I'll need to gather more samples of the contagion for my tests. Assistant! Is my plague doctor mask disinfected yet? ...Bah! That alcohol is for cleaning, not for drinking! It'll make you go blind, fool! Posted October 30, 2016 (edited) Here is another reason to fight for the cure: The egg glitch strikes again! This time it's our Dark Greens! Fight for the cure! Let's prevent theses terrible complications! ------------------------------------------------------------- Edit: I assumed the dragon in the Halloween Contagion picture was a Red Dragon, albiet a younger one. The Image: Red Dragons: - - Though, it also looks similar to a holly in body structure, though missing several defining characteristics (like the horns and leaf-like tail fin): - - Maybe, it's a hybrid between the two dragons? Though, it's probably just a generic dragon for the event. It´s supposed to be a younger red dragon that has already been weakened by the contagion; it has been infected for a few days, not able to move around much or eat, thus not very "bulky" looking anymore. This is in no way official but my take on this contagion is it being similar to a cordyceps fungus (be careful if you want to google it, it is not really ...pretty), that grows inside its host (insects) and more or less turns them into a zombie before it kills them and uses them as a nutrient source. I imagine the goo behaves similarly...it will slowly spread across the dragon's skin, turning it a sickly grey, before growing into the dragon as well once it has been sufficiently weakened (that´s the stage the dragon in the pic is in). Once it has spread far enough it takes over control and steers the dragon´s body to go on a rampage in order to spread the contagion as far as it can before the dragons body gives out and is consumed. So uh...yeah, probably a bit more than you guys wanted to know but there you go YOOOOOO!!!! (Warning. Link leads to video with cursing.) If you needed another reason to spread the cure, this is it. Posted October 30, 2016 I have my own trusty assistant who as his description says, is the peacekeeper on my scroll. But even he has been affected by this ailment, and despite his eternal youth and white breed, he is weak and slow.
