I agree completely.

I, Shadowsearcher, agree that if it has a face, it has a name.

I, Chorsana, agree that if it has a face, it has a name.

I may have some unnamed hatchies, but that's because I'm waiting for them to gender/coming up with a name/being lazy. I try to name all my dergies before they mature.

I, StarKaabi, agree that if it has a face, it has a name.

Even if it takes me a bit, I make sure to name all my adults, especially bred ones, because I sure know how happy it makes me to check my dragons’ progenies and see that some of their hatchlings have been named! The only exceptions are and will be extremely good codes, be they word codes or name codes that I deemed suitable enough on their own.

I am new here and still sorting my way through the chaos.

That being said, I, Newtinmpls, agree that if it has a face, it has a name.

and this applies even if I end up with  chicken (or some other non-dragon entity)

granted I am quite behind on naming for lack of time and imagination, but I'm getting there.

I, bord aka Anya, agree that if it has a face (or multiple faces), it has a name.

I get so excited to name my adorable babies that I really don't care if the name doesn't match the gender, most of my names are gender neutral puns though.

I definitely took the oath ages ago but am not on list. *Sad noises*

I will do so again.

I, St0rmbringer, agree that if it has a face, it has a name.

It sometimes takes me a bit to name my dragons (I have a backlog rn due to irl worries), but they do get names eventually, at the soonest when they gender.  I even like to put a nod to the parents in the surnames if I can! The only one who’s unnamed and is staying that way is (skyXO) because her code is really cool and her name is Sky by extension :3

I, Edenello, agree that if it has a face, it has a name.*

There may be a lot of silly names and it may take a bit for me to name them, but it will happen as soon as I think of one! :D

*Unless the code itself is the name

This one of my favorite code names so far: "LargeMouth" Screenshot2023-08-014_00_37PM.png.8090155e8a70abb79503642beea8e0b9.png

I, jellystualy agree that if it has a face, it has a name.

I typically name my dragons as soon as I'm able to, and I don't name dragons with codes I collect and yadda yadda, but everything else is fair game (and typically might not exactly "fit" the gender. Not that it matters that much though). Most of my names either random words, random fake words, or silly things I've come up (probably when sleep-deprived), and are tagged with "Inanis" at the end.
