So, at 8:00 PM EDT/DC on a Full Cirion Moon Day, the chances of getting a Lumina are 100%, while the chances of getting a Dark Lumina is at 0%. However, by 8:00 AM EDT/DC of the same day, the chances of getting a Lumina has decreased to 93.75%, and the chance of a Dark Lumina has increased to 6.25% (1/16 percent change) By the next Lunar day, the first Waning Gibbous day, at 8:00 PM EDT/DC, the chances of getting a Lumina is now 87.5%, while the chance of Dark Lumina is now 12.5%. (1/8 percent change) (Note: On the Daily Dragon Fix website, the ratios don't match up as, Pinkgothic assumes there that the peak of any Lunar day is at 8:00 AM EDT/DC, 12 hours from the start of the Lunar day, as the phases don't change until 8:00 PM EDT/DC on any given Lunar day.) This [Pinkgothic's theory] would explain why it's so hard to get a ratio for a single day. You can't get one, because the ratios aren't stable from day to day. They functionally change all the time. Ideally, with enough data, we could get actual ratios to put on the site, but for now, there are just vague estimates. However, now all the images are broke (Thanks Photobucket), so I gotta fix it up with new images (and extend it to include Aurax just because.) Tell me if you guys have ideas to improve it. This is it (uploaded to tinypic now): And here is the full cycle of images: This is based on the fact that the ratio change based on the Cirion Cycle, where you have the most chance of getting a Lumina on the Cirion Full Moon, and the most chance of getting a Dark Luminae on the Cirion New Moon, and assuming the ratios change from then on over a 16-day period (with the half days being on Day 4 and Day 12). (There is still a small chance you could get a Dark Luminae or Luminae on Full and New Moon days, respectively, which is why a sliver of black/gold is still visible.) The problem is the actual ratios don't link up that way exactly, so I didn't quite want to make a cycler out of it yet. If you have a friend who wants to make a cycler out of your image, they can if they want to. It will just be relatively accurate. Relatively. For Quote 1, it contains 2 theories (with graphs) of how the Luminae Family breed is suspected to work. Both theories assume that Lumina breeding maxes out on Full Cirion Moon Phases, and Dark Lumina breeding maxes out on New Cirion Moon Phases, while the reverse is true for when no eggs are produced. - These ratios don't quite match the actual data seen in Quote 5, but it's close enough that you can use it as a rough guide for breeding, as such, the cyclers and posts about breeding probability follow that theory. - Theory 1 follows the idea that the ratio of Lumina/Dark Lumina breeding is stable all day, and changees on a day to day basis. - Theory 2 (Pinkgothic's) follows the idea that the ratio changes depending on when you breed during any given Lunar Day. - Both theories assume that the difference in the ratio between 24 hours is 12.5% or 1/8 percent. - Neither theory has been completely proven yet. Also, for anyone who wants to make a website for the Luminae Family, Quote 2, has some some example text to use for making an informational page. Quote 3 contains the possible cyclers we could use. Both of them are in gif form. In Quote 7, we have my version as a fully functional cycler thanks to @pinkgothic. If you want Shadowdrake's version, please contact @Shadowdrake for the individual images. Quote 4 contains the proof from Corteo stating that Luminae family breeding follows the Cirion Moon Cycle. Lastly, Quote 6 contains some data charts detailing the previous instances of "No Egg"/"No Interest" for Luminae Family Breeding alongside actual egg numbers, thanks to @Verse.
