Question: you stated You would take Vamps if they were descended from CB vamps. I have a pair from 2010 that do NOT have the bitten by tag so appear CB, would that count?

how long of a bite lineage would be needed since you only get one vamp per generation?

For vampires you could have one vampire with 14 bites which while slower would probably be best or you could do a line with each bitten vampire biting another and so on until you reach the 15 sprites.

4th gen aria is ready. I would just need to breed one.

I almost have greater spotteds and tarantula hawks done - will just want to breed a 4th gen for myself first. I also decided to go ahead and build a 4th gen morphos, but I'm still short a few cbs. ^^

At long last we have our first lineage pair! Our first 2 entry egg! Once we get Greens sorted out we'll have our 2nd 2 entry egg and soon to breed them together to have our first 4 entry egg! SO MANY ENCYCLOPEDIAS.

 

Also I have someone assisting me with acquiring a gold 2nd gen so our first hurdle is at least having some scaffolding built around it.

So I read "gold" and bred my one cb pair for fun. I actually got lucky. o_O I'm thinking of trying to trade it for a 3rd gen to give to purplehaze (you mentioned possibly being able to try for a 3rd a page ago) to breed a 4th or even try and trade it for a 4th. I'm not sure how much luck we'll see since rares are so hard to get results from.

 

Y/N? Other preferences of what to do with the egg?

I have a second gen female that can be bred for a third gen to give to purple so whatever you like.

Just need a second gen male.

I'll be able to accept the remaining donations in 17 hours and then it's just a matter of time to get the gold 4th gen between me and purple. Purple, if possible once we have you set up for third gens you should throw me a sibling and the two of us can work on 4th gen at the same time

I just traded for a 3rd gen PB Gold, which my Aeon's precognition tells me will be male -- not that it really matters because I don't have its mate, yet. But anyway, progress is being made.

 

I tried breeding my Greens for you, but they gave me a Geode. I hope they don't make a habit of that!

 

But since I was on a roll with Geodes, I decided to try those and got this! PM on its way to you with a transfer link.

Yay! My CB Golds gave me a second gen Gold egg! I have influenced it to mate with my 2nd gen female. So the progress continues, for if I get an egg from them I already have the 3rd gen mate for that.

No Gold egg from my new 2nd gens this week. I better get cracking on Purple and Water though as we'll also need those eggs before Gold. Edit... apparently I'm further along than I thought. Purple done!
