Brand New Evil Thread, Same Evil Purpose!

The original thread was created by Oracle Mask here, and all credit goes to her. The first remake was by Tiga with rubyshoes giving permission here. After such a group account was made and the thread moved to here. Making this the Fourth incarnation of Evil. Proof that Evil will always rise again.

The Evil plan is to grab eggs from the AP that nobody wants, hatch them into baby dragons and release them back to the AP for those click hungry hatchling loving dragon cavers. Why? Because eggs in the AP aren't nearly as interesting as cute babies in the AP. And also because there are more slots for hatchlings than eggs in a scroll making them appealing for anyone who doesn't want to be egg locked.

Why is this Evil? Well, basically it's tricking people to take eggs they don't normally want...by turning them into cute babies that no one could resist. And you don't have to abandon the hatchlings either - if you hatch one you like you could keep it for yourself.

What can I get for being evil? The satisfaction of being devious and mischievous. Also, for every hatchling you release into the AP and record you get a point! With those points you can receive awesome prizes for doing you best to be evil.

Anyone can join and anyone can donate a prize egg! Please read the rules carefully to join in the evil!

Follow the plan at all times.
No killing eggs deliberately.
Evil laughing is required!
All eggs must be from the AP, any bred eggs from you will not be counted! However, CB eggs from the AP are allowed.
Delivery of prizes may take time, please be patient. If your username begins with a number or other character, post a holiday.
Prizes must be CB or PB and EG, unless they are tinsels/shimmers. Other prizes may be rejected as a prize offering.
Lineage links must be used, or you may be warned! If your username begins with J-P, post a kind of water creature.
Hatchings caught and frozen still count as a point. If your username begins with A-I, post a kind of vegetable.
Prizes must be requested before gifted, no prizes should be offered on the thread.
You may give out eligible dragon eggs on the thread. Eggs only please.
Prizes must be reported by both the gifter and giftee. If your username begins with Q-Z, post a kind of furniture.
More rules may be added later one, keep an eye out!

You can suggest any new common-cave blocker species to be added! But please remember, we do not use the DC Wikia, we watch the AP for the eggs that show up most often.

05/25/16: Day two of opening up shop is done!

The Prizes Available list has been revised to make it more streamlined and easily understood. Points needed to request a gift are listed in blue. Points given when you gift to another member are in green.

The records of the hatchlings released on the old thread is DONE! All hatchlings from the old thread have now been transferred over. Points will be added tomorrow.

05/24/16: Welcome to the new thread! Records have been moved and signature links have been updated. If you picked up an Evil Project signature before, please change it over to the new link otherwise you will be directing people to an old thread.

Any reference to previously banished minions has been removed for the time being as the eligible breeds are under review. Any breeds that have votes for removal/addition have also been removed since new releases since the last update need to be taken into consideration.

I am working on getting all links and information updated. If you find any links or something that does not look right as I revise, please let me know.

One change to the rules is if you chose to keep a hatchling that you've collected from the AP for your own, please do not list it. Only record and use the Evil Release form when you actually release. This should make it easier to keep track.

All new members who applied at the old thread have been added to the member list.

Please check back here as this will be the first of many updates during the change over.

--FAQ--

Make sure to read this before asking any questions as it may answer it for you!

Q: Do I need to wait for my name to be added to the members list before releasing hatchlings?

A: Not at all. Feel free to release eligible hatchlings as soon as you have submitted your membership form. At the next update your name will be added to the member list and points listed.

Q: Can I keep the hatchlings/eggs I find in the AP for myself? Do I need to list them? Will they count towards my total?

A: Yes! You can be sneaky and steal some hatchlings for yourself but please do not list them. Tuck them under your arm and silently add them to your scroll.

Q: I found a gift for a person but when I checked into the thread, they already got a gift from a different person!

A: Good on finding that gift! However if you are unlucky to have that happen to you, you can keep the gift for yourself, gift it anyway (the points wont be deducted from the person asking as their request did get fulfilled. Any extra gifts to the person will be given out of generosity) or gift it to another person who wants that gift!

Q: The person who picked up my hatchling froze it! Will it still count to my point total?

A: Of course it will! As long as you have hatched it and have given it to the AP, it's all out of your hands, you can't control who freezes it or not.

Q: The hatchling I released died/I cant find it.

A: It will still count towards your point total. As mentioned in the question above, it is out of your control to decide on what happens to it. If you can't find it, it will most likely of died. ):

Q: I have more hatchlings to add to my post, can I edit my post to add them?

A: Yes, You may revise your post to add hatchlings as long as it is before a thread update and the thread is still on the same page. If there have been several new posts since your post you wish to revise and the thread has moved to a new page, please make a new post.

When revising your post please put in the release dates of any additional hatchlings that were not on the original post so an accurate release date is recorded.

Q: I want to be a mod, where do I signup?

A: We are currently not taking applications for mods. There will be an announcement when we are.

Group Update is Complete

All the data from the old thread has been moved and recorded. This includes the list of released hatchlings, points for those hatchlings, membership add-ons and a new archive for that time frame.

The eligible breeds are next to be reviewed and will be once the AP calms down from the Anniversary Releases. You may continue to request to add or remove breeds in the meantime.

Draconiusultamius- Please use lineage links to link to your released hatchlings. Posting view links is against forum rules. The easiest way to change the link is copy your view link and replace with lineage.

Example: (https://dragcave.net/view/CODE) becomes (https://dragcave.net/lineage/CODE)

Because a forum mod caught this a few times your links to your released hatchlings were broken. Points will be assigned out of good faith for those two during the thread changeover only but any further ones will not be added to the database until corrected.

A couple minor changes have been made to The Evil Project that should make it a little easier:

1. If you grab an egg from the AP and decide to keep it, you do not need to list is with your Releasing Evil form. Only post links to hatchlings you are releasing back into the AP. This should make tracking points and releases easier. Remember to always use lineage links and not view links.

2. The Prizes area has been streamlined. The last one seemed a little confusing. Hopefully that means we will have more people requesting prizes soon as some of our members have plenty of points!
