Reincarnated (REMAKE)

Squinting at the larger interior of the ship, Lucida couldn't help but stiffen. She glanced sourly around, before stalking forward. How much longer would it be until she was executed, hm? They were likely headed to a chopping block now. Eyes set forward, she walked down the ramp in silence.

It wasn't long until she was grabbed by an "escort". Stiffening, the girl jerked away, hostility gleaming in her gaze. The soldier's hand drifted to a weapon, glanced at Ton, and huffed. Instead, the alien gave Lucida a "gentle" shove forward, guiding her into a cell.

The door swung shut, leaving Lucida to her own devices it was dark, save for the soft green glow of Clarence's resting tube...thing. The girl's gaze remained there as she walked forward. Her hand returned to the glass tank.

"Please, please wake up. Don't leave me alone here."

She didn't want to spend her last hours alone. She wouldn't.

The block of cells was designed for chatter. The prison was a rounded room that branched off from a hallway and contained only one exit. The ceilings were low and oppressive and each cell was a fraction of a much larger circle. This allowed guards or others to enter the prison block and easily observe the inhabitants, while also allowing the inhabitants to all see one another from at least some angle from the front of their cells. The doors themselves were made of some kind of clear material, though like the rest of the ship it was not earthly and seemed to shiver every so often. As if it was alive.

Clarence and Lucida were guided into the right cell closest to the doors. Next to them went Phineas, followed by Ranaghar in the center, directly across from the door. The next cell went empty, followed by the dragon steed that had apparently been deemed important enough to actually get a cell, before finally, on the other side of the door, went James.

Six cells in total made up the prison, but only five in use.

Having been escorted there first, he was already inside his cell by the time the others arrive, firmly clutching something close to his chest. Even though they could clearly see one another, there was enough distance from each cell to prevent whispers from being passed. It was clear that if they were going to speak to one another, every second of it would be monitored. It was likely that even in each cell there was some kind of monitoring device.

As for the cells themselves, they were very sparse. Clearly prisoners were not often taken by the aliens and those that were kept were not kept for long. Or they just didn't care. There were no beds or accommodations to speak of, only a small shelf that could just be sit on. The insides of the cells were bright white and while spacious, offered up nothing more. It was an idle space, not a living area.

"Right then~" Came a chipper voice from the entrance to the circular prison block. Aeqae clapped her hands together, examining all of the inhabitants carefully. "Welcome aboard the main fleet. You're actually some of the first visitors we've had here but that's not all that important right now. Our leader is currently out so you'll be here for a few days until they return from the South. In the meantime, Boss, Xeix and myself are in charge of you. Try to relax, alright? If you make a fuss we'll have to put you in isolation and nobody wants that."
