What makes your scroll unique?

  • I don't want to have the carrot badge, so I'm always off line during Easter

Actually, we received the carrot badge for April Fools in 2011. You shouldn't worry about it as I don't think it will ever come back.

For Easter, we get the Easter basket for the easter egg hunt.

  • I chose not to be on for the gingerbread house badge in '12 because it would've meant two winter holiday badges in the same year
  • A constantly expanding group of dragons with Middle-Earth names, possibly the biggest group of its kind on the site
  • Another massive group of dragons with a Celtic theme, including a bunch of CB Magelights named for Celtic heroes
  • My scroll is from all the way back in 2008, one of the oldest still active
  • The fact that it's my scroll, so it'll always have a trick up its sleeve (parchment?)

- With the exception of Gemshards for a lineage, I have only four bred dragons on my scroll-- One kept for the code, one as a fun thing from our gemshard lineage, one due to its ancestry, and one i got as a gift. The rest are all CBs.

- Speaking of Gemshards, it occupies a third of my scroll. Considering the current focus on them, half my scroll will most likely be only exclusively gemshards once I reach the platinum trophy!

- I have only one prize dragon among all six variants- My silver tinsel. I have none of the others, not even bred ones.

- My blue Baikalas are from the jungle

My scroll is custom sorted, except for the few that just grew up and need to be moved around.

99% of my scroll is named; I have checked my whole scroll (except the unnamed ones) and ducumented the lineaged on everything worth breeding (to me).

I have almost 4,000 frozen dragons.

Although I don't have the largest scroll, I do have over 18,000 (including frozens).

I honestly don't think my scroll is that unique in the dragons that I have or their lines and stuff. The only thing I can really think of that would be truly unique would be the cool name or interesting coded dragons considering those codes are never the same. So in that case..

-I have a perfect capitalized name coded cave born red fire gem from the first release here named Zynbu

-and there's also a perfect capitalized name coded cave born mistletoe here named Knarf with that silent K lol.

-I guess the few 4 letter/number coded dragons I have are kinda unique, though plenty of others have them too.

Well, I probably shouldn't say it's unique, but my scroll does contain at least one of every dragon species, each with their own name and background (though some descriptions are still in the work).

Also, it's custom sorted so the dragons are separated into multiple different clans. Some are meant to be wild dragons, some are Lone Dragons, others are domesticated.

^ That's one of the bravest things done on DC. Genuinely impressive.

My scroll? Well...

  • I own a Bleeding Moon army, counting 798 individuals at this very moment. Not enough.
  • I own an April Fool's 2017 Mint - upside down one.
  • I own a wrong biome dragon - a coastal T-Hawk.
  • Over 300 codes divided into 10 groups. Not enough!

-I managed to make an OUaT family tree:  https://dragcave.net/lineage/luThp.

-I have a CB code (DALEK).

-Bred code (Ekans).

-Tones of dragons from breeding/naming projects from across the forums.

-I somehow manage to name all my dragon except the two listed above.

-My Wicked always Wins lineage: https://dragcave.net/lineage/iOLJf.

-A bunch of codes stuff like Z's and ACC (though I've stopped collecting the latter).

-My few described one are fairly original: https://dragcave.net/group/26567.

I've seen your OUaT family tree before, but omg the Wicked Always Wins lineage!!! That is so awesome!! By far my favorite song from the musical episode.

@HeatherMarie Thanks! I'm very proud of it and the time it took and my dedication. If you're interested in an egg, I could get you one next week (I often breed them to the AP just to spread it around).

@OutlawQueen Those codes are amazing! :D I love your DALEK especially! As far as I know, I don't have any particularly interesting codes. If I did get them at one point, I never noticed. I'm not actually sure what makes my own scroll unique. I don't think it is, especially. I do have one of the upside down mints, though, which I think is pretty neat. ^_^

This is so cool seeing all of what is unique to everyone's scrolls. :) Especially love the codes! Ekans is a great one!

Also, yeah, that CB gold turned Neglected is a very impressive/bold move!

For my scroll...It definitely has a lot that needs to be worked on for it, but so far, what makes it unique (I feel anyways) is...:

-My custom sort that is absolutely chaotic, but yet still flows well for me (somehow).

-My variations in names. I have such serious and somber names like Song of Goodbye, then I have absolute ridiculous names like FLUFFLECANADIAN 8D (I sincerely apologize to Canadians everywhere for that name-one of the downfalls of owning a scroll while you're still an immature kid. :P)

-My dragon names in general. I have some rather...interesting ones, especially for my Vampires!

-I have a few interesting codes as well, in particular my favorites: (https://dragcave.net/view/8F0xY) (https://dragcave.net/view/VcDIE) (https://dragcave.net/view/kCmON)

That's it, I feel. :D Not the most unique scroll ever, but it's mine and I love it! ♥

Dunno if this counts, but...

  • I might be the only user who collects codes that have to do with genetics https://dragcave.net/group/34758
  • I'm attempting to create a lyrical lineage using a Japanese song with both romaji and English translation
  • I like naming dragons using scientific species names sometimes

Yeah, your scroll's how I discovered that there's an extinct species named after my town for whatever reason

  • White-wing snow angels
  • A 2nd gen Thuwed Swallowtail
  • Several 4-digit code dragons
  • 4-digit coded Zombie (Used to be a CB Canopy picked up from the cave before biomes)
  • A Neglected
  • CB Prize with a custom code
  • 2nd gen Gold tinsels bred from tombstones before a site change; Tombstones lack codes & viewable lineages
  • LOTS of seasonal dragons; I have a ton of autumns that were used to help breed a 9th gen purbred Autumn Seasonal line
  • A VERY old line of Purebred Ochredrakes that produces 19th generation offspring

- I have 3 upside-down mints and one normal from the cave (from the events)

- I own at least two of every CB other than prizes (just one)

- All of my CB golds have a name starting with “Glaringly” and the second word being something staying with “O”: e.g. Glaringly

Orcish

- All of my male silver names start with “Elegant” and then have a type of bird as the rest of the name (e.g. Elegant Chickadee) while the females start with “Graceful” (e.g. Graceful Penguin)

- I collect insect, farm animal, “fox”, and naughty CB codes so there are a lot of fun 2nd gens in the AP when I breed them

- I have a perfect word code (fuZZY) CB golden wyvwrn, which I grabbed because it was a shiny then later saw the code.

- I have 4 Avatar the Last Airbender CB code dragons, not including my prize. Two Zuko, 1 Toph, 1 Iroh.

- I’m only missing a stage 1 neglected to complete my scroll goals and finish the conversation by names they are having where one is looking for who took its ear.

I have the most female frozen hatchies on dragcave (according to DC Records anyway - hats off to PrincessLucy for have the most overall :))

I have a frozen hatchie GON

I have a Female CB Holly & a CB Prize making me super lucky

I used to have original 4-letter code holiday frozen hatchies, but I released those to get two CB adults when the holiday biome came into existence

Missing a lot of badges and stuff, almost always have at least one growing metallic and/or hellfire, and usually at least one fogged egg for ND attempts. Mainly growing hellfires for my 100+ hellfire swarm. Also, a lot of strange code-based names, many names from a year where I loved using "incense" in them for some reason, and almost all my nebulas have "Void" in their names.

  • 2008 start
  • I limit the number of each breed to 2 adult males,  2 adult females, and 1 per gendered sprite of each hatchling (exception: I do have a second frozen chick).
  • All adults are CB if it is possible to snatch them that way; others are as close to that as I have been able to get with breeding & trades. Nearly all CB breeds have multiple if not all adults caught on day of release.
  • I have over 1000 named dragons; every named dragon has a description (currently only 3 not yet approved - thank you reviewers and moderators!).

Clarify adults are CB; frozen hatchlings I prefer messy lineage.
