This thread is for completely spontaneous gifting. You can use any criteria you desire to pick your giftees, but newer members are suggested. How to Glomp 1) Pick a random DC member. 2) Send them a nice gift with nothing expected in return. 3) Wait for the gift to be accepted. 4) Post a report here. 5) Cackle with evil glee.Feel free to offer the gift to someone else if the original giftee doesn't respond within a couple days or so. A glomp is invalid if... You receive any sort of compensation. The gift was expected. The gift was a cave blocker, fail, or another sort of reject. What constitutes a 'nice' gift? This is rather subjective, but here are some general guidelines. This is by no means a comprehensive list. Almost always nice Things on the user's wishlist. They've told you they want it. Nicely lineaged/CB semi-rares or uncommons. Reds, pinks, trios, blacks, geodes, etc. Neglecteds. Very few people would not be overjoyed to receive one of these. Shinies Metals/tinsels/prize. People do tend to do back-flips when you randomly send them one of these. Clean, famous lineaged eggs. Thuwed, Dorkface, Dusk, and others. Short lineages will usually be more desirable. Very subjective Semi-common hatchlings. People especially like BSA hatchlings. Value is increased exponentially for new members. Before gifting a common, check the giftees scroll. Vamps, and other unbreedables. This is variable; some people value this more than others. I know people who would die for a Cheese and others who consider them a plague. Reporting a Gift Only report a gift once it has been accepted. Note: Use exactly this code! Even a little difference could mean that your gift is not correctly added to the spreadsheet.
