I added a new diagram and a new section, Term Reference. Just in case some of the words are confusing.

 

Also, I don't know if anyone discussed it yet (though I know others have mentioned it elsewhere), but with our current theory and current data, many of the possible overlaps between Aurax's and Cirion's phases are impossible. So, I made a chart based on the data and everyone's theories (and work on the Moon Watch Doc) that shows it. Here it is below.

With this last phase change (Waning Gibbous), the current theory is almost completely confirmed!

 

What we still need to confirm is that:

1) Aurax's phase change from WaNing Gibbous to WaNing Crescent is 7 days.

2) Gold Eggs can be bred when Aurax is WaNing Gibbous and Cirion is WaNing Crescent.

and 3) Bronze Eggs can be bred when Aurax is WaNing Crecent and Cirion is New.

- For 2) and 3), we only need theses because during those phases, we didn't have adults yet.

Well, it's not just me. I just got the ball rolling.

 

- BananaGummyBear69 and I worked on the Moon Tracking Doc together.

- Pinkgothic is responsible for making the Lunar Asynchronization Doc. She allowed me to add it to my doc and modify it.

- Millie_Azure made the Valkemare Moon Calendar, tracking the Lunar Herald color changes all the way to 2020.

- And everyone on this thread helped flesh and iron out the current theory for how the eggs work, and provided the data to support. As well as provided moral support!

 

So, thank you everyone for your support in this!

But you deserve the credit. You are the original concepter for that sheet. It's like in Dragon Requests, just because other people helped give your idea/sketch/sprite improvements, it doesn't make the original idea/sketch/sprite any less yours. You just share credit with others. You deserve the credit and I thank you for your part.

 

In other news, I have made some Lunar Herald-Moon System Pixel Charts (thanks to everyone's contrabution) for easy viewing (which unfortunately means a loss of the visual pun. Poo.) I noticed a interesting pattern, too. If you follow Cirion's cycle downward and move to the right to the next available overlap, a pattern appears, matiching the 2:1 ratio the moons phase through! So, I arranged the charts for the most aesthetically pleasing patterns.

 

This chart has the pattern I like the most:

(Unfortunately, this pattern requires that Aurax starts on WaXing Gibbous, and that Cirion starts on New Moon. Note the Gray boxes are impossible overlaps based on current data.)

 

And this one has the phases, so Aurax's and Cirion's phases both start on the full moon:

I don't like it as much, but the pattern still lines up perfectly so...

 

You guys be the judge of which one you like.

I'm loving those mini-charts! I saved the top one to my own personal lineages spreadsheet, in hopes to start a pretty lineage and keep track of it correctly.
