There's a Golden Moon and a Blue Moon, so if there's a breeding element at play here I would expect the Brown and Silver eggs to be the bred alts. @Burning - Likewise~ just one more Golden and I'm all set for those. It's a phase between the full moon and the third quarter of its surface being visible. There are also phases like Waxing Crescent, Waxing Gibbous and Waning Crescent. Moon phases list Basically a waning gibbous is the one that comes after a full moon, with the lit portion getting smaller (waning). If the moon is waning, the lit portion is getting smaller. If it's waxing, it's getting bigger. A new moon is when none of it is lit, a full moon is when all of it is. New moon - waxing crescent - first quarter - waxing gibbous - full moon - waning gibbous - last quarter - waning crescent - new moon. Share this post Link to post

'Waxing' is the opposite - getting closer to a full moon. 'Gibbous' means it's more than halfway visible - closer to a full moon, whether coming or going. 'Crescent' is less than half visible - closer to a new moon. The terms are very rarely used even in English, and then mostly referring to the lunar cycle, so don't feel bad about not having seen them before.
