Posted September 5, 2021 They get the biome-specific tombstones after 2 weeks, I believe. Basically the amount of time it would take for a dead-thing to disappear from your scroll, but since it's a zombie it will instead become the specific tombstone. Share this post Link to post

Marie was right, you'll see the tombstones change after the 14th judging by the time of death (even non-CB zbs have a different tombstone from the plain ones) Quick question also about the undeads: do the tombstone not appear on scroll during the day time? I was checking my sister's scroll for confirmation of the information above (since she's more actively making undeads than I am these days and have a lot of recent turns) but I just amusingly saw that none of the undeads that are more than 2 weeks old and have the custom tombstone show up on her scroll. They do show up in the group dedicated to undeads though. Is this normal/expected? Share this post Link to post
Posted September 5, 2021 @Moriaty That's strange, they should show up. I just checked a few of my older zombies and they show where they are supposed to (I checked both my regular scroll sort and breed-sort). How old are the ones you were checking? Maybe there is a lag between the 2-weeks and them showing up regularly on the scroll? Share this post Link to post
Posted September 5, 2021 I have a question regarding Pitfires. The Halloween dragons released in 2020. When trying to turn them into their altered angry form is it possible to try and turn them as hatchlings or did that only work on adults? Share this post Link to post

This is what she sees when she's viewing "dragon" versus what I see when I view her scroll from outside, as you can see all the non-plain tombstones disappeared: I checked the unofficial wiki and it said "Undead dragons used to only be visible on scrolls between 12AM and 6AM DC time (EST), but now are always visible in the form of a tombstone, taking on their Undead sprite during the hours where they would previously only appear" so that was confusing for me, either that info from wiki is out of date again or this isn't supposed to happen Share this post Link to post

Posted September 5, 2021 @Arcy - thanks! but, thanks to those silly Shumogas, i don't have anymore kill slots. i think i remember it being 100% if you kill an adult Pitfire it Exalts (as opposed to dead-dead) Share this post Link to post

I couldn't remember how the mechanic worked and considered myself lucky enough to have 2 turn Exalted on me. Appreciate the help. ETA: @trystan - I think/hope you're right. I just tried it with two of my remaining normal Pitfires and one dodged the blade, the other was a success and became Exalted. I don't want to try again until I can grab some more if we can get older Halloween CB breeds this season, but if I catch more I shall test more. Thanks! It's intentional. I can see my own zombie tombstone when I'm logged in. No one else can unless it's zombie time in which case they see the zombie not the tombstone. Share this post Link to post

We can see other people's zombie-tombstones in Groups, and through view or lineage link, but not on their regular scroll? Doesn't seem very consistent. Sigh. Share this post Link to post

Here's what I see: Hide contents I can't see it either: Spoiler The reason I found it odd was exactly what Marie said: I could see my sister's undeads in her undead group but can't on her actual scroll. If I were unable to see undeads in other's group too that'd make more sense to me, because then it'd mean you just can't see other people's zombie tombstones, but now it's kind of confusing and inconsistent. Not that I mind a lot though just a strange and interesting finding that I don't understand why and really want an answer for I also noticed something: undead things apparently don't count towards "grown dragon"! I counted dragons on my sister's scroll and the "grown dragon" count apparently don't include the undead hatchlings she had. I counted 201 dragons when I view her scroll, subtracting 8 undeads that haven't passed 2 weeks would make 193 actual grown things (they're all frozen hatchlings btw), and that's exactly what her scroll said her "grown dragon" count is. But going in to the undead group reviews another 40-ish undead older-than-2-weeks tombstones not showing in the scroll, soo apparently they don't count as grown dragons either Then I did a quick check on my own scroll. I have 26 growing things on page 1. I set the limit to be 50 dragons per page. I got 60 pages, with 31 adults and 3 frozen hatchlings on the last page (when I view my dragons page) 50*59 - 26 + 34 = 2958. My grown dragon count said 2938. Guess what, I indeed had a total of 20 undead hatchling and adults! Proof of these numbers: Spoiler Edited September 6, 2021 by Moriaty Share this post Link to post

Posted September 6, 2021 I was just wondering... is there any consensus of what the floret colour variants are called? I guess "purple" and "gold" are quite obvious for both iris and alstroemeria, but the third one, is it "peach" or "pink" or are both used equally? I also very often see "magenta" for the peach/pink iris and sometimes "brown" for the gold alstro (egg at least). And I don't know what I should call them. 😹 Share this post Link to post
Posted September 6, 2021 (edited) @Varislapsi Here is my take on these dragons, based on what I've seen and what I would use: Iris Purple; purple Iris Gold; gold Iris Pink; magenta, wine Alstroemeria Purple, Alstro Purple; lilac Alstroemeria Gold, Alstro Gold; brown, chocolate Alstroemeria Pink, Alstro Pink; peach, rose There isn't an official nomenclature as far as I know. I think people pretty much understand which one you are talking about, no matter what terminology you use, but there does not seem to be any one standard or "official" terminology.
