Is there a way to check if a hatchling is frozen or not from it's own page? I recently abandoned an egg and I'd like to see if the owner froze it, but they have a lot of dragons and I'd rather not scroll through them all.

 

Also, are there any solid numbers for % chance of gender after Influence? Everything I've seen so far just tells me "much higher". Is it 80%? 90%? 99%?

 

Sorry if either of these answers seem obvious, I did search in the faq etc but I'm rather new...

As far as the second part, we don't have exact figures, but I would guess it to be somewhere between 95 - 99%. I can count on the fingers of one hand the number of gender fails I have had since using it and I influence just about every egg I get. Of course without influence you already have a 50% chance of getting what you want.

Thank you! I figured someone must know the rough pink figures, even if no one had done any serious mathematical experimentation. It just doesn't seem to be on any guides or faqs on the internet...

And the hatchling thing was probably indeed an obvious one (the hatchling in question was indeed frozen)

Well the thing is, it wasn't there before I changed my signature, and I cannot find it in the coding either:

And also, when I copy it and use Ctrl+F to find it, it is registered as a space, rather than a dash.

I think it's from the URL; try moving the space to before the URL part of the code.

 

e: Basically, it's underlining the space because that's what the URL code does. It's still a space, it just reads as a dash because of how it's located.

So It appears to be part of the dragon image. Recheck your source and see if it is there. It doesn't seem to be in the code.

Just curious - is it technically possible for one persone to own two CB Prizes? For example, if they win two different raffles (I know, the probability of that is extremely low, but still). Or are all previous winners automatically excluded from such events?

There actually is someone who owns two. The previous winners are not excluded.

Only "regular" breeds can. Basically, if you can bite it, you can neglect it.

 

The exclusions are:

 

Unbreedables (such as chickens, cheeses, papers, dinos)

Pygmies, DC Drakes (traditional drakes without wings such as mints can be neglected), and two-headeds.

Does Alternate Custom Sort not work with the St. Pat's skin? I've gone there a couple of times and it's always just Custom Sort, which is a real LONG single file if you have over 2,000 dragons.

Try doing a hard refresh on the page. I had that problem earlier with the default skin and that fixed it.

I want to say 1 day, but I'm not honestly sure. Try a few more times and if that doesn't work you can always wait till tomorrow or put it up in a teleport link in the departures thread if you need it off your scroll quickly.

Your answer suggests you can try more than once in the same day. You can't. I forget if it resets after 24 hours or at midnight, but you DO have to wait after a fail.

Well, you can try more than once -- the action is still available -- but it will not succeed. And it resets at midnight. I distinctly remember that from my last failure, even though it was years ago, because I was discussing it with some other people on the forum at the time.

Actually, I just had that happen to me a few weeks ago. My solution, was that even tho I could not abandon it, I could still transfer it to someone else. I got a friend here to help me, and when she got the egg, she was able to abandon it. Problem solved.
