The Radiant Prophecy

___________________________________________________

Beware the ones above us

Upon the highest mountain

Beware the ones trusted by us

For trust is earned, not claimed

The legends speak of benevolence

But legends are not always true

Beware the darkness of legends

Beware the darkness in you

Search for the Pyralspite

When times are worst

She will aid the fight

And bring the fall of the first

Then search for others

They will come to help

One after another,

Both sister and brother,

Time ticks by

And when the world is most threatened

They will all bring about

The fall of the second

___________________________________________________

About two hundred years ago, three dragons -a Thunder Dragon named Iradia, a Magma Dragon named Khiris, and an Ice Dragon named Aurora- decided to summon a Guardian of Nature. To their surprise, they summoned not one, but two Guardians of Nature. The three of them decided they would raise the two legendary dragons together, and so they did. They named them Rajaorak and Marailis. They soon learned that the two shared an incredible bond, making them a powerful team. It was as if they could read each other's thoughts, and they knew what the other was thinking at any given time. They were especially strong when together. The five dragons made up a happy little family, and it was as if nothing could go wrong.

But, as is the way in many stories, their happiness would not last.

It all started when, one day, Khiris and Iradia returned home to find Aurora killed and Rajaorak and Marailis gone. The two set off to find them, thinking it would be difficult, but to their surprise, it was not. They found the two dragons together, though they were not the same. They had been corrupted by their power and were not the innocent dragons they once were. The Thunder and the Magma tried to pacify the two, but this ended in their untimely demise at the hands of the dragons they had considered their children.

___________________________________________________

Two hundred years later, the two Guardians of Nature still live. They claimed the mountain that they were born upon as their own, attacking any dragons that lived on the mountain and chased them away. Most dragons learned to stay out of their way, assuming that they would leave everyone else alone if they left them alone. However, this changed because of a certain Nebula Dragon named Tomi Mimiko. She had the unique ability to see into the future and also the ability to tell prophecies. She saw a future, a future where those two Guardians of Nature claimed the land bit by bit and reigned over the new dystopia with iron fists. She saw this future and spoke the words of a prophecy no one except a select few believed at first: The Radiant Prophecy.

At first, Tomi was mocked by the dragons she spoke the words of the prophecy to. "Guardians of Nature are our protectors!" they told her. "They would never attempt to do something like that." Their opinions on this changed when Marailis sent an Avatar of Destruction to destroy a forest home to many peaceful dragons and other creatures.

There are still some dragons that believe that if they help the Guardians of Nature, they will be rewarded by them. The dragons that have allied themselves with Rajaorak and Marailis live on their mountain and are sent out by the two to do their dirty work, such as assassinations of any resisting dragons and spying missions.

The only way, according to Tomi, to completely save their world from these Guardians of Nature would be to end both of their lives. And so, that is Tomi's quest.

Pyradia is a mountainous continent surrounded by sea. The highest peak known as "Mount Xalaxia." This is the mountain ruled by the Guardians of Nature Rajaorak and Marailis. The valleys in between the many mountains in Pyradia are very diverse, containing near any sort of environment imaginable, such as noisy jungles, peaceful forests, blistering deserts, and so on. Tomi herself lives in the "Forest of Liliana," alongside Feoh the Cassare, Luka the Pygmy, and Kumii the Pyralspite, her partners/friends. (Map!)

___________________________________________________

The RP will start off with dragons being recruited to Tomi's cause (unless one of them is a dragon opposing the protagonists) .

Tomii's allies will aid her and her group through dark times, and help her defeat the GoNs. A good idea for starting off would be for you to detail what is going on in the dragon's life before they were recruited by Tomi. It will give us some input into how you roleplay and your dragon's personality. If you do not wish to do something else, you may encounter Tomi and her partners on your own, so long as we are in a situation that would make sense for you to do so.

Rules

  • All DC rules apply.
  • No RPing as humans!
  • Character sheets should be sent to me or Windra through PM.
  • No godmodding/powerplaying.
  • The dragon does not have to be on your scroll.
  • Posts should be four sentences or more, to avoid awkward one-liners.
  • Try to avoid Mary-Sue characters, if possible.
  • Tenshi (Windra) and I (Darkstorm34) are the hosts for this RP and lead it. Please listen to both of us.
  • I reserve the right to deny anyone who has previously or does make me uncomfortable-- please do not take too much offense. I have a panic disorder, which sometimes makes me feel that way about people.
  • We have an OOC Thread, (Here!) but if you must put it in your message, please use ( message here ) or (( message here ))
  • Make sure to proofread your posts before reading them! I understand that some spelling/grammar errors get overlooked, just make sure you can still understand your post!
  • No more than 6 Dragons, please! If you are at your max amount of dragons, but would like a new one, you can kill one of your current ones, if you deem it necessary.
  • For plot reasons, no GoNs or Avatars. (Those playing AoDs are the exception-- though we are not accepting any more-- my apologies.) All other dragons are okay.
  • Due to the diversity of the continent of Pyradia, you may make up your own kinds of places your dragon comes from. (Examples: Esladia Desert, the Mountain of Mykara, and many more places- it's all up to your imagination.)
  • The actions of the main antagonists are controlled by the hosts. (Windra and Darkstorm34) However, this does not prevent your dragon from being detrimental to the cause of the protagonists. Whether they are allied towards the GoNs, or just plain jerks, that's your choice.
  • Please don't randomly run off to fight the GoNs yourself, because this will result in an untimely death. (You can certainly be concerned with the goings-on, or even already be travelling towards them, if you're that ambitious, just don't actually find them.)
  • Do not kill someone else's dragon without their permission. However, if you plan it out with them, go right ahead. You are free to kill your own dragons, if you wish. (The only exception to this rule is if you break the rule stated above.) If you read the rules and your name is A-L, put "This dragon likes carrot cake" at the end of your character sheet, under the "Other" section. If your name is K-Z, put "This dragon likes chocolate cake" at the end of your character sheet. If your username is a different character, put: "This dragon likes key lime pie" at the end of your character sheet.
  • It's okay to have a relationship between your dragons, or even someone else's, (with their permission, of course.) but, please, don't be overly romantic, since this is not a romance RP.

Character Sheets should be sent to me or Windra through PM!

Dragon's Name: First Name (Last Name)
Dragon's Species: Main Species (Subspecies, such as "Blue" in Nebula or "Pyro" in Xenowyrm)
Age: 1-10 is Immature Hatchling, 10-20 is Mature hatchling. 20+ is adult. It is usually not recommended you be a hatchling, but you may if you want.
Gender:
Appearance:
Personality:
Backstory:
Other: Any quirks or special abilities go here. Should be formatted like this:
-Thing one
-Thing two
And so on.

Here is a version to copy/paste:

Dragon's Name:
Dragon's Species:
Age:
Gender:
Appearance:
Personality:
Backstory:
Other:

Here is an example of a filled out Character Sheet:

Dragon's Name: Tomi (Mimiko)

Dragon's Species: Nebula (Blue)

Age: 39

Gender: Female

Appearance: Tomi actually has a very pretty pattern on her wings-- Blue, like normal, with swirls of purple. This was probably influenced by the fact that her mother and father were a pair of blue and purple Nebula Dragons-- She doesn't remember them, though. Her other quirk is her strange, purple eyes. It is unknown whether these appeared because of her power or not.

Personality: Tomi is, for the most part, soft-spoken, except for when her visions occur. When they do, she gets worked up and hyperactive, the only one who can calm her down being Feoh. Most of the time, though, she stays behind Feoh, as she's not a fighter. The only time she's ever spilled blood is hunting, and even then, she's a bit squeamish. Which is why Feoh does most of the hunting for her.

Backstory: Tomi does not remember the first twenty or so years of her life. She was raised by her two parents as a hatchling, but they were attacked by an Avatar of Destruction, one of the first attacks by Rajaorak and Maralis. They both were killed, and Tomi was, almost, but was saved by a Magi Dragon. She spent the next few years of her life in the care of that Magi, but, because of the trauma she had from that attack, the Magi decided it would be best to wipe her memory of the incident. However, the spell that would do this failed and instead eradicated all of her memories. The Magi took her to a group of dragons to be raised again. She ran away from the group when she first spoke The Radiant Prophecy, as dragons there started calling her "crazy." Escaping through the forest, that was when she met Feoh.

Other:

- Tomi sees visions of the future. She often stays by Feoh, however, because he prevents these from occuring constantly.

- Tomi spoke the Radiant Prophecy.

People in Charge!

We have a couple people in charge here. Both of them are of equal importance, though!

___________________________________________________

  • Darkstorm34
That's me! My name's Maribel, but call me Merry. I'm pretty much in charge of the plot's direction, because I'm Tomi, but Renko also has an important role, since she's the main of the two GoN's. The reason Rajaorak is the main is... Well, that's a spoiler, actually, can't tell ya. wink.gif

___________________________________________________

  • Windra
This is my friend Renko! She's very important to the plot, as she's, well, kinda the main antagonist. That might be a little important. Anyways, she has no idea I'm writing this, so be sure to PM "This is a pretty great black hole, Mai." Thanks!~

___________________________________________________

Anyways, both of us are in charge, so please listen to both of us! Thanks!~___________________________________________________ Edited by Darkstorm34

The RP has been approved!

___________________________________________________

(Now that we've been approved, we'll be starting on August 15th, after people have time to put in their character sheets!)

(Alright, it's the fifteenth! Let the RP begin! Everyone that doesn't start in the forest should begin by describing and interacting with their surroundings!)

Tomi gazed at the sky, leaning against Feoh, her wings folded against her back neatly. "The sky's kinda pretty, but the sun hurts my eyes. Do we have to stay on this hill for that long?" She shifted her wings. She still wasn't used to being awake during the day, though she knew Feoh was right when he said that it would be easier to find other dragons at that time.

She stretched out her wings, accidentally hitting him with one. She let out a small squeak, and drew her wing back. "...sorry." Tomi glanced back up at the sky, squinting. Above the clouds, she saw a Skywing, one of an unusual lavender-pink shade. "Oh, it's.... the Skywing. The... The one with the news." She supplied this information awkwardly, seeming to have forgotten Amuna's name. "Hey, d'you think she'll come down to talk to us? That would be pretty cool."

Kumii

Kumii strode through the forest at a quick pace, preferring not to be seen, and occasionally glancing back to make sure that Luka was still (desperately) clinging to her back. "Hang on tight! I'm goin' up!" With a couple beats of her large wings, she was airborne, soaring up above the trees. "We need t' find Tomi, an' pretty soon, too. She needs t'know what happened. Tell me if you see 'em, Luka." The large forest stretched in all directions, though she could just barely see where the forest thinned out into valleys in the west, and the mountains in the distance beyond. Kumii looked at them with a sort-of longing for a moment... Then shook her head and flew the other direction, heading towards-- and past a hill, and crashing straight into a lavender-colored Skywing, the collison almost knocking them both out of the sky.

There are many ways to perceive a forest. For some it is a quiet getaway, for others it is a source of resources, and for some it is nothing short but the stuff of horror. For one small mint dragon, with two damaged beyond practical use eyes however, it was nothing other than paradise. Kanu by name, a connoisseur of the flora by heart, the little dragon flourished where life was most abundant, so it came as no surprise that he would be anywhere else but there, doing what he did day in and day out.

Let's see. -he muttered as his empty eyes darted around for who knew what, and his little claws made short work of one of the vines spiraling upwards one of the larger tree trunks- Haven't seen this around at this time of year. What's causing them to... -he paused as a sound shattered his concentration. It had come from the direction he most disliked, straight up in the air above him. Rearing up, the mint took several sniffs, but was unable to identify who'd caused that noise. He scurried out of the way, hoping not to be in the area, should whoever got knocked silly in the air come crashing down.

======================================================

Meanwhile, perched on his pillow-like cloud, hanging idly in the air, above the hustle and bustle of the walkers, and the hoppers and even most of the flyers, lost in a world of daydreams was what one could easily describe as one of the most careless individuals they'd ever had the pleasure, or displeasure of knowing. Symaro by name, professional slacker by heart, the daydream dragon was much like the rest of his ex-clanmates. Detached from the troubles of the world, idle and happy within the confines of his own reality, that all was well. The only things he really concerned himself with these days was finding his own food, and procuring drinkable water. Because really, who would go out of their way to attack a cloud, even if they knew he was perched upon it?

*crash* ...and it all came back to him in an instant...

How easily the daydream had tricked himself into forgetting his actual problems, and how sweet was his peaceful daydream, safe from his recurring nightmares that haunted him day in and day out. Symaro immediately looked downwards, rubbing his eyes, he observed two dragons having collided into one-another in mid-air. He bitterly cussed under his breath and yawned widely, wishing he was able to safely sleep at a higher elevation to avoid such things in the future.

Sighing, he figured he was already awake, so rather than risking lulling off into a potential nightmare now, he settled for watching the scene unfold before him. The two who had collided both looked interesting, in a peculiar way. One was definitely a skywing, a species that Symaro had met and interacted with before, but the other was unfamiliar to him. He didn't know that skywings came in different shades either, let alone lavander. Yet somehow, the color suited the her somehow...

Feoh said nothing for a few moments, rubbing his injured snout and looking up at the sky. There, the lavender-colored Skywing swooped gracefully in the air. "Her name's Amuna. And I'd expect she would; she has no reason NOT to." He sighed, furrowing his brow with concern. "I hope the news is good this time... That may be asking for too much, though. I remember last ti--"

His voice was cut off by the sound of startled roars overhead as a familiar-looking Pyralspite crashed into Amuna. The poor Skywing faltered in midair before righting herself again, and the. Feoh blinked rapidly, then flicked his tail with exasperation. "...And there's Kumii and Luka, too. I wonder what they're here for?"

Amuna

Amuna let out a startled squawk, untangling herself from Kumii and looking at her with surprise. "H-Hm...?? A-And you are?" She tensed just a bit. If this dragon was one of the corrupted individuals working for the Guardians of Nature, she needed to fly-- and quickly. They would undoubtedly use her as a source of information... then where would Tomii and the others be?

But upon closer inspection, she realized that this was not a pawn of their worst enemies, but a friend. Amuna hadn't interacted with her much before, but she knew that Kumii would never betray them. "...Ah. Kumii, was it? You startled me." she said simply, the tension in her wings relaxing again. "Where have you and Luka been? Travelling isn't safe in these unpleasant times."

She looked off idly and watched the clouds go by. Now that she was perfectly calm again, Amuna felt comfortable with letting her attention wander a bit. Then, she noticed something off. There was a single, fluffy cloud amidst all the others that seemed unaffected by the wind. It hovered in place idly, as if it didn't wish to move. What is that...? Amuna wondered, barely listening to Kumii anymore, it certainly isn't a normal cloud. Should I go take a look...?

Though she was unaware of this, she was looking right at Symaro and his resting place, her sleepy blue eyes boring into the cloud as if she could see straight through it.

Luka

Luka was not having a very good day. Not only did he have to cling onto Kumii in a desperate attempt not to fall and die (for his wings were still weak), but he was almost thrown off completely when Kumii slammed into the peculiar Skywing.

"K-Kumiiii...!" he squeaked, blanching from fright, "Y-You said you wouldn't go so fast this time! I-I can't hold on T-THAT well...!"

Shockwake soared over the skyless Esladia Desert, feeling the hot air blowing by and against him. "What a wonderful day it is to go explore the desert! The air up here is just right, but soon I should land and put this place on my map." He said, before spiraling down onto the desert. The sand swished around his claws as he planted his feet into it, and he looked around, observing his surroundings. "Blasted!" He muttered, spreading his wings over him to block the sun. "It's much hotter down here than in the sky! I better hurry up before I get cooked!" He then grabbed his bag, a gift given to him as soon as he became a adult. After that, he was allowed to go exploring as much as he wanted. He pulled out a piece of rolled-up paper, and then a wooden stick with a pointy charcoal end. On the map, there were many scribbles showing different places and describing them. He sketched in the land of the desert and wrote; The Esladia Desert, a very hot and barren place with little life. He then rolled up the paper and stashed it along with the pencil in his bag, before slinging it over his back and taking off again.

The Mykara Mountains had seemed to teem with violence the like the peaceful Pepper Cane had rarely seen before. The terrain was unstable and shifting, the weather startlingly unpredictable, and the residents uncannily hostile. Fortunately, being a tiny, malformed, and flightless dragon seemed to make her too pitiful for even the dragon-eater to bother with much more than taunts, but the ill treatment was enough to anger and terrify the young Mint, who had spent her entire short life relying on the companionship and support of her community. Her cause of swift, uneventful travel greatly improved when she remained in the valleys, and she learned to hide from other dragons to avoid being berated and attacked for trespass, for although not every passerby was at fault, there were enough that her life was put at jeopardy for what was now a luxury - conversation. The sooner she left these territories, the better it was for her!

And how her heart was put at rest when those evil mountains were behind her! (Although to be fair to the Mykara, what she had passed through must have been a very small portion of the area, considering her slight size.) A singing ochredrake danced within her, and without her, because she had begun to dance and hop about, although she did not sing because she rarely felt compelled to use her voice. There - In front of her! - was a horizon of dark green that must be the Forest of Lilliana, and to her left was land disappearing into the west horizon that somewhere must be the Soime River, and to her right far, far away were pale blue blurs of Ice Peaks, and behind her she could finally see more than just the two folds of mountain she had been confined to during her travel, she could see mountains disappearing into the left horizon and the right horizon when she turned around, and she spun around and around seeing the mountains, seeing the forest, seeing the land, seeing the mountains again. Cane's jubilee lasted as long as her breath, and she became dizzy and fell over, exhausted, and then sighed and closed her eyes. The sky was too close, too big, and if she looked at it too much then it felt as though a giant azure dragon would obliviously alight on top of her. Instead she stared at the red-black of her eyelids, wishing for green light to wash over her instead of orange.

Orange, the color of flames hungrily eating what they may, and scarlet red embers of burnt ruins flashed through her memory. Her eyes shut tighter, and yellow burst in her vision, yellow the hot breath scorching - her eyes flew open and she cried out at the blue sky, the sky blue like the hottest fire that belched from the maw of a giant, and she desperately turned over to huddle on the green grass. Green, color of life and food and home, comforted her, and instead of fearful memories, shame washed through her. She was so silly, cowering at the sky, Pepper scoffed at herself, ignoring that the sky had tried to wrench her from the ground when she was caught without shelter in a storm; She scoffed at her legitimate fears so that they would not interfere in what was meant to be a calm reality.

Having thoroughly scolded herself, she unhooked her claws from the dirt (when had she dug them in so tightly?) and stood and stared hard at the dark green blob that was the forest. That was her next destination.

Serena emerged from her home, a cave full of beautiful foliage that she had allowed to grow into her den since she had took residence there. She didn't mind, the colors and smells the plant life brought were more than enough of a reason to let them stay.

Upon stepping outside onto the dew covered grass, she pulled in a breath of fresh, and wonderful, air. Holding it a second before releasing it for the tree's to grab to convert once again. She stared before her into the place she called home, The Forest of Lilliana, a beautiful, wonderful and peaceful area.

She stretched, her Golden scales glistening in the sun rays that were lucky enough to break through the thick roof of tree leaves. Standing up, she made her way to the small stream that was her source of water. You would actually find that this small stream connected to the Soime River if you followed it long enough.

I should go visit the family, she thought to herself, It HAS been awhile, can't let them worry too much about me. She chuckled, fond memories coming back. She finished drinking the cool, fresh water and began to search for some fruit. They seemed to be not as abundant lately, as if other dragons had made there way through. How could she have missed them though?

She pushed the thought away and began to pluck the sweet fruit from their tree, when she heard it. A crash of scales hitting one another, and the squawks and chirps of a few dragons singing unpleasant tones. She quickly stretched her head towards the sky, trying to see if she could catch a glimpse of whatever had caused the noise. But the tree's wouldn't allow it, fully blocking her vision and whatever had just unraveled.

She just wanted to shrug off the thing she just heard, but curiosity had grabbed her ears and was tugging. Hard. She really wanted to go see, but what if it was something dangerous?, and even if it wasn't, she really didn't feel like interacting with another being today. But then again, someone could be in trouble, hurt, or even worse. No , she thought, Don't think like that, they're probably fine.

She turned her whole body towards the point of the noise. Should she go?

Symaro watched idly as the two quickly recovered, then conversed briefly. Thankfully it had all played out for the better, even for the pygmy, who'd almost fallen off. Leaning his head against one paw, the daydream couldn't help but feel strange fascinated about the two who'd collided, especially the skywing. There was a particular charm about her that... was she still staring in his direction? How long had she been doing that? A couple more seconds passed... And she's still staring...

As his little cloud descended towards them, Symaro sighed lightly, then dove into his little cloudy pedestal, emerging from it's lower end, left suspended from it only by hanging by his tail, at eye level with the lavender skywing. Classic daydream antics. Morning! -he exclaimed, smiling happily as he went on- Everyone alright? You lot gave me quite a jolt when you smacked into one another.

Glancing between the lot, he couldn't help but recall the conversation he'd eavesdropped on.

Everyone's always so tense about those baddies and their goons... -he thought, but said nothing about it yet.

Gywern

Gywern paced in his cave, wondering what to do. He lived in a cave relatively close to Mt Xalxia, but he did not know what was going on on it. What he knew was that there were two Guardian of Natures who claimed the land, attacking anyone who laid a foot on it. Suddenly, he heard a commotion outside his cave. He frowned and grumbled,

"What is it this time?"

Gywern wanted to complain about the noise, but as soon as he saw a picture of his master, he shut his mouth tight. He is still trying to keep his cool and get rid of his explosive temper. Looking outside again, he saw two dragons crashing into each other. Looking closer, he saw a pygmy dragon clinging onto and Alamandine Pyralspite dragon. Above them was a strange looking cloud. Gywern shook his head and went out to investigate.

Between the trees and the bushes, Gywern could barely make his way through. He looked back at his cave, wondering of he would be a nosy dragon for visiting the dragons who crashed. However, he remembered his master saying, "When someone needs help, help him. When you need help, he shall help you." Gywern flapped his wings and rose to the air again, squinting his eyes to get a better look at the scene. By then, a Cassare Dragon was already at the scene. So was a daydream dragon, laying on his strange cloud lazily. Swooping down, Gywern silently landed behind a bush, trying not to attract the attention of the little group. He heard the Daydream ask,

Everyone alright? You lot gave me quite a jolt when you smacked into one another.

The Pygmy, still clinging onto the Almandime Pyralspite, cried,

"Y-You said you wouldn't go so fast this time! I-I can't hold on T-THAT well...!"

Gywern pitied the Pygmy. He probably was having a shock of his life when they crashed. Gywern made his way out of the bush and said to everyone,

"Hey guys. I saw you crashed with each other. Are you guys alright?"

Amuna

The Skywing blinked with surprise as the Daydream emerged from his cloud. Of course. That's why it didn't move. I've seen Daydreams before, so how in Pyradia did I forget? She offered a gentle smile to Symaro, opening her mouth to speak, when a Golden Wyvern flew up out of the blue.

"Hey guys. I saw you crashed with each other. Are you guys alright?"

Amuna paused, then slowly looped around everyone, gazing at them with soft eyes. Her face barely held any emotion-- as it usually didn't-- save for her gentle, almost sleepy smile. "So much concern... But I promise both of you, I am fine. It would take more than a Pyralspite to knock me out of the air. I was just going to deliver some... information to those dragons down below." She gestured with a wing, closely guarding her words, though her tone was still casual. Amuna had no idea if she could truly trust these dragons, but she had a feeling she would find out soon.

She shook her head to clear her thoughts, turning back to Kumii as her Pygmy passenger chirped his response. Whoops. I got off track again. "But that's not the point. I'm still wondering... Why are you here?"

Luka

He scrambled up Kumii's neck and onto her head to get a better look at the stranger who addressed him. It was a Golden Wyvern! Luka stared a bit, ruffling his wings with surprise. In his short, young life, he had never seen a dragon so... glowy. Well, except Tomi. But that was a different kind of glowy.

"...I'm okay..." he mumbled, sliding back down the neck so Gywern couldn't see him. It wasn't him trying to be mean; it was just Luka being shy again. The pygmy tended to be a bit on the shy side.

--(Maia)---

MEKIN! GET UP!

For the youngest sister, it was always a large task to wake her brothers up. With one of them being an immature child, and the other being a glutton, it was like being a mother. Imagine if I WAS a mother too. My GoN, that would make my horns turn gray.

Of course Mekin did not wake up. Neither did Wezan, for that matter. Neither was surprising at all. She had to go get "the stick" again.

The "stick" was a chunk of wood with a burnt top, and she often used it for writing or making maps. But she also used it for waking her brothers up- the smell of charcoal always sent a jolt into their noses. But she hid it so they could not use it on anybody else they came across.

She sniffed for the stick, digging into the ground to find where she buried it. She dug in a particular spot, and relief washed over her when the charcoal top poked out of the dirt. She thought she lost it again!

Rushing back over to her brothers, she wavered the burnt tip in front of their noses. Come on, smell the charcoal, wake up...

To her surprise, they kept snoring. She decided to poke the stick in each of their noses to see if it worked. And it did. The two yelped and jumped up, awake.

Oweeeeee! Wezan squealed(?), sounding nasal with his hands over his nostrils.

Hey! Why did you do that! I had a good dream! Mekin complained, doing the same thing his younger brother was doing. Their nasal voices were pretty funny.

Because we need to get a move-on. We're not forming a permanent settlement here. She responded, then rushed off in one direction, the brothers having no choice but to follow.

Ever since their original home was attacked by that Avatar, they had been moving around in the Forest of Lillian looking for a new home. So far no luck, though the boys didn't get the memo. Every time, they slept like they were living in a particular area, and it annoyed the hell out of Maia.

After a while of walking, they heard a crash.

And not just any crash, but the crashing of dragons. And it sounded like it hurt. Startled, the Bronze Shimmerscale began to run, her brothers following. After some running, the three arrived to the scene, where a bunch of other dragons gathered. There was a SkyWing in the air, along with a Pyralspite, a Pygmy hanging on for dear life, a Blue Nebula with a very ugly Cassare, and others gathering around. Excuse me, but what's happening?

Kumii

Kumii's tail lashed irritably. "We've got a crowd now, haven't we? Well, I need to talk t' Tomi, and you guys don't need t' hear it. So buzz off!" When it looked like the other dragons had no intentions of leaving, she muttered to Luka, "We've got no choice but to tell 'em, too." She stretched her wings out, barking out her words loudly. "'EY! Everyone who's listenin' t' me! I gotta ask ya' a couple questions!" Kumii snorted out a small burst of flame. "Tell me, what's 'yer opinions on The Radiant Prophecy?"

Tomi

Tomi had hidden herself between Feoh and the rest of the group, hoping they wouldn't see her eyes and be able to identify her. But of course, Kumii had to bring it up.

"Tell me, what's 'yer opinions on The Radiant Prophecy?"

Tomi blinked for a moment, then realized what was going on. Kumii had information, and was making sure the dragons in the group were on their side. Of course, they could always be lying... But Feoh was rather good at telling if someone was lying. And Tomi trusted him.

Huh? -jolted Symaro, his attention finally torn from the skywing- The, the radiant prophesy... -he repeated, rubbing his chin with one claw as he continued hanging upside down from his cloud. That honestly doesn't ring a single bell. I'm sorry, my kin aren't really the uhh, "down to earth" kind of group. -he mimed air quotes and continued to rub his chin thoughtfully. Well, no. Actually yes, I have heard only rumors about what's been transpiring down on earth, something about two malicious Guardians of Nature. The lot of us laughed it off as mere fiction, wild tales from the walkers and what not. -he waved one paw around to emphasize his words.

But I digress... I know very little about the actual prophesy to tell you accurately what I think about it. As I stated, were it up to my kin, they'd be belly-up with laughs right now. Sadly, I'm not on good terms with them, so I tend to question their sagacity on more than just that. Still, I guess I've had my own problems to deal with, so I haven't very much cared to look into it in great detail... -he paused again, scratching himself behind the neck, pondering the situation, he then looked strangely at Kumii, and asked: Why does it even matter to you? Who are you anyway?

A loud crackle rang its way through the rainforest. Erus got up from his hammock to investigate, and saw two figures approaching the village. One was Ori, a powerful Magi dragon, and the other was Akina, the village's best hunter. Erus slithered down to where the two stood. "what happened? I thought you two were out hunting," and Ori replied with, "We were, but we got attacked by a large pack of wolves. Akina got badly injured, so I teleported her back here." Erus turned towards Akina. As Ori said, she was badly cut up. "Hold on a sec," Erus said, and dropped a few green Mana shards on the ground in front of Akina. He channeled his magic through it and it gave off an aura the color of the jungle around them. The aura spread to Akina, and within minutes, she was mostly healed. "Take it easy for a few days," Erus said to Akina. "We have plenty of food, and should we run out, we can't have our best hunter break her back from over exertion."

Shockwake decided to head towards the forest. Hopefully the forest isn't as hot, which it shouldn't be. He thought, soaring over the landscape. The sand began to turn into dirt, which had grass on it. It soon became shrubs, and then trees. Then a whole forest, which he soared over. He soon came up upon a group of dragons, and he caught the words

"Tell me, what's 'yer opinions on The Radiant Prophecy?"

He soared down, coming close to the Skywing. "My opinion?" He said, hovering in the air. "I've heard of it, and I'm not sure that is exactly true. But I'm not so sure anymore, some part of me can't agree. I'm not exactly sure now." He said, hovering closer to the Skywing.

Serena sighed, they really could be hurt, and she didn't want to have the guilt of knowing she may have left someone out there to be tugging at her for weeks. Finishing her last fruit, she took off, glancing at her den once more. It should be fine, she thought, there isn't anything valuable in there anyway.

She didn't have to transverse far to get to the clearing that lead into an open area, where her instincts told her that the colliding of the dragons had occurred. She stayed in the shadows, raising her nose to the air. Ohhhh Lord yes, there were MANY other dragons in this area. She questioned that, wasn't it just two that had ran into one another? Sure, maybe someone would come check on them, but this amount of dragons was a LOT. Maybe too many.

She heard voices, and decided to get a closer look. She walked out of the shadows, but stayed in the protection of the tree's. Welp, she thought, my sense of smell is still working fine! She saw many dragons of many species, some in the air, some on the ground, all now focusing their attention on a Pyralspite , an Almandine, and most likely a female from what Serena could tell. She was asking the others about something, but Serena couldn't make it out.

She began to walk out into the clearing, but stopped, drawing her paw back in. Should I go over?, she thought, not wanting to draw attention to herself. She stayed in the tree's, hoping her Golden coat wouldn't reveal her to any of the others. But she knew they still might see her if they glanced over. She stood still, trying to listen. What was so important?

Gywen

Gywern growled. He hated talking about the Radiant Prophecy, not that he hated the prophecy himself, but it reminds him of the two Guardian of Natures. Also, he hated being shouted at. He wanted to shout at that Almandine Pyralspite, but that would deter his goal of trying to get rid of his explosive temper. Gywern scratched the earth with his claws before growling again,

"Fine then. If you want me to leave, I will."

Then, he laid down and bared his teeth, before saying,

"But listen. I know the Radiant Prophecy, even if I hate to say it. I know that that two Guardian of Natures had claimed Mt Xalxia. They would kill anyome who laid a foot on their land."

Gywern stared at everyone with penetrating eyes. He was trying to keep his cool, and not burst in rage if something goes wrong.

"There were three dragons before the Guardian of Natures were born. They were the ones who summoned them. They all led a happy life, but one day, the Magma and the Ice found that the Thunder was killed and the Guardian of Natures had disappeared. They found them on Mt Xalxia, but the Guardian of Natures weren't what they were before, because they are corrupted. "

Suddenly, he let out a sly smile. He didn't know why. Perhaps he knew something that others don't.

"That is what the Radiant Prophecy is about, right? To end the lives of the Guardian of Natures. And how did I know this? From my master."

He stood up again, getting ready to fly off. Suddenly, the daydream dragon spoke up,

"Why does it even matter to you? Who are you anyway?"

Gywern nodded at him before repeating his words,

"Yeah, who are you?"

As he waited for the answer, he glanced around nervously. Suddenly, something that was bright caught his eye.

"Who is that?!

The desert was quite hot today. The sand was blistering more than usual and the few cacti that struggled to live in the area looked withered and dried out. Only a couple of miles away was the Arcana Forest, trees blurred with heat waves. It had been a bad idea to wander over here.

Sebastian had thought that a break from the leafy undergrowth and bugs would have been nice, but the sun had other plans. Now, instead of being covered in plants and bugs, the Albino was covered in sand. It coated his belly and hands and legs, as well as most of his tail. It made him itchy and uncomfortable. He was also a little dehydrated, so his oil production had thinned and he was getting patches of pain flaring up his spine.

It had been an incredibly bad idea going out to the dunes today. While the heat would still be a constant in the forest, at least he would have had shade and water. He looked forlornly over to the line of trees, hissing softly at the brightness that reflected off the sand. He couldn't just fly there; there was no wind to help him. He was too tired and hot to try and carry all his weight over there without a breeze's help.

So he continued forward, one foot after the other, sand pressing in between his fingers and clumping in his claws. Sebastian kept his mouth open, panting lightly as the heat tried to suck his strength away. Albino was a little nervous about the fact that he may have a sunburn after all this. They were hard to treat and were a complete pain in the tail to deal with. It was fortunate that he wasn't following a group this time around. If he had, he'd probably be left behind in the dust. Sun burns stopped everything until they healed.

He couldn't wait until he was under those trees and taking a break near a stream. Everything would be a hundred times better and Sebastian would take it slow for the rest of the day.

Kumii's tail lashed, and she growled. "If you 'HAFTA know, my name's Kumii. And I WANNA KNOW 'cause I need t'know if I can trust ya! Alright? And-- ARE YOU EVEN PAYING ATTENTION?!" She snapped at Gywern, then turned following his gaze. She noticed, near the trees, there was a golden shape, and it was one that was definitely a dragon. Is that an Undine? Kumii wondered for a split second. Whatever. I don't trust her either way. "HEY! YOU!" She snapped at Serena. "Who are you, and what're ya doin' here?!"

Away from the commotion, Tomi sighed. Kumii always got so riled up, and it would probably get her killed someday. "Feoh?" She whispered, only audible to him. "Do you think I should tell them who I am?"

((I posted!! In other news, though, it's Windra's birthday! Be sure to wish her a happy birthday! (I'm sure she'd love it if you sent her a PM~)))

Nyroc yawned, tail twitching as he looked out over the ash-laden steppe. Riverbeds teemed with miniscule lifeforms, painting them reds, blues, and greens from geyser runoff. The roar of an erupting geyser penetrated the eerie silence, and dead trees still stood proudly in the midst of the volcanically unstable ground. Nyroc called this place home for many, many years, but life has been drab for the Guardian. He wanted to find something new to preoccupy himself with. Pawing at his muzzle and ignoring the numb feeling of his new wound upon it, he picked himself up and turned southward. Peaks rose up in the distance, an unassuming blue-grey. There had to be something of interest out there! Just had to be... and yet, the throbbing reminder on his muzzle told him to not go back-a vicious purple dragon, not the smartest but definitely stronger, had spotted Nyroc stepping into his territory and gave him a few things to think about. Though the Guardian's pride was hurt, curiosity was too demanding for him to simply dismiss the mountains and push them to the back of his mind. He wanted to explore! He wanted to discover! He had wandered as far as he dared in the Barren Lands and nothing has changed, and he could use some spice in life.

Nyroc huffed, turning to the geyser field, then looking ahead, toward the unfamiliar dragon's territory. Perhaps... just one more time. The dragon could be out hunting, and Nyroc could pass through undeterred. But the question was, was he willing enough to try it again?

Maybe I'll just take a look, see if he's still there. Nyroc thought, picking up his rump and moving at an easy pace toward the mountains. If he is, I can stay away until he leaves, but if not I'm going to those mountains! And some nasty purple dragon can't stop me.
