Posted July 23, 2015 Alright, I bred two atrapi xenowyrms expecting to get an astrapi egg, and I got this: Click! Share this post Link to post
Posted August 1, 2015 So, this is a thing... That fits with outcome 3. I bet it looks really nice all grown up! Share this post Link to post
Posted August 2, 2015 Xenowyrm type: Pyro Gender: Female - Mate: Blusang Lindwurm Biome: Lineaged Elemental affinity: Water Mana: Creation - Result: Xenowyrm Mageia I have to say, this surprised me. http://dragcave.net/lineage/F5Zjt Share this post Link to post
Posted August 2, 2015 Bred Dragons probably function like Cave dragons, so they can give any of the Xenowyrm types. Share this post Link to post
Posted August 2, 2015 I finally got my first notable breeding: Xenowyrm type:Chrono Gender: Female - Mate: White Biome: Cave Elemental affinity: Life/Light Mana: Creation - Result: Gaia http://dragcave.net/lineage/z6BcU This sort of breeding has already been confirmed, but in the past I noticed that it seemed like if the father is a Xenowyrm, it is more likely for the offspring Xeno to be a different Xeno than if the only Xeno parent was the mother. In fact, I was starting to think that it was impossible to get a different Xeno if the only Xeno parent was the mother instead of the father. This offspring disproves my theory on that though, thankfully. Share this post Link to post

Posted August 6, 2015 (edited) So I was flabbergasted when I bred two Astrapi and got a Mageia egg. 0-o Bred all six of CB pairs and the two Astrapi are the only ones that went 'rogue' on me, lol. Here is the rebel egg: http://dragcave.net/lineage/Z4zzk Edited August 6, 2015 by Taintedtamer Share this post Link to post
Posted December 14, 2015 How rare is it to get outcome #3? (I bred two CB Chrono xeno and got a Mageia) Share this post Link to post

Posted May 15, 2017 Bred Dragons probably function like Cave dragons, so they can give any of the Xenowyrm types. *resurrects thread* Has anyone been able to confirm this? I.e., has anyone managed to breed a 3rd+ gen Xenowyrm (from bred Xeno x bred non-Xeno) that is of a different breed than its Xeno parent? Or seen such a dragon? If anyone could provide a link to such a dragon, that would be awesome. Because from what I've seen, I actually kind of doubt that breeding random-Xenos from a bred Xeno is possible... I often see examples when hunting the AP, too. Picked up a 3G Chrono the other day from an enraged Aegis x Pyro checker. Didn't keep it, though! Posted June 30, 2020 Out of the several new Xenos which I bred and ended up abandoning, I got a flow from an interesting combo. Xenowyrm type: Gaia Gender: Male - Mate: Garland Biome: Alpine Elemental affinity: Fire Mana: Destruction - Result: A (messy lineaged) flow! This is the only bred new Xeno I have hanging around, so I'll put it here, too! Xenowyrm type: Chrono Gender: Male - Mate: Guardian of Nature Biome: Summoned Elemental affinity: Neutral Mana: None - Result: Ke'maro, or Death variant. Posted July 2, 2020 I just bred a bunch of CB Xeno pairs to add to the aggregated data: two pairs for each breed. (All were from the regular biome for their subspecies.) Of the twelve eggs produced, all were the same breed as the parents except the following three: Xenowyrm types: Thalassa/Thalassa Elemental affinity: Water Mana: Creation Result: Staterae (the new 'flow' egg)! Xenowyrm types: Chrono/Chrono (both new pairings) Elemental affinity: Time Mana: Change Result: Obidar (the new Forest Xeno; same biome as parents) Xenowyrm types: Pyro/Pyro Elemental affinity: Fire Mana: Destruction Result: Pharos (the new Desert Xeno; different biome than parents) Share this post Link to post
