I've only bred one Xeno pair and so far the egg I got matched the mother. Now I'm not so sure if it was random or it matched the mother because the Xeno's were different types.

Well at the moment I'm pretty satisfied with my three Xeno/Xeno pairs.

I bred male Chronos (Blue one) with the Coastal Thalassa (sp?) and got the Thalassa egg.

 

ETA: Bred a Female Pyro with a male Gold and got the Pyro.
