For Gemshards, I do think their commonness is in the same range as the other breeds for the raffle. They seem to highly depend on what you breed them with. I tried them with several different breeds this time around to try to get information. Here are all of my x Gemshard breedings for this raffle:

 

Mostly Gemshards:

Deep Sea x Gemshard: 5 breedings, 1 Deep Sea egg, 3 Gemshard eggs, 1 no egg

Speckle-Throat x Gemshard: 12 breedings, 3 Speckle-Throat eggs, 6 Gemshard eggs, 3 no interest

 

Mostly not Gemshards:

Striped River x Gemshard: 8 breedings, 4 Striped River eggs, 1 no interest, 3 refusals

Yellow-Crowned x Gemshard: 12 breedings, 7 Yellow-Crowned eggs, 1 Gemshard eggs, 3 no egg, 1 no interest

Gold-Horned Tangar x Gemshard: 12 breedings, 5 Gold-Horned Tangar eggs, 1 Gemshard eggs, 3 no interest, 3 refusals

 

I definitely understand the argument that we might not want to include them here because breeders try and try and try to breed them to get the color of offspring they want.

I’d like to suggest this common be removed

I wish there were a form that said "I'd like to maybe bring up that this common doesn't breed true quite as often as before"

 

Did we fix its ratio? Speckle-throated dragon:

Produced STD: 1 gemshard, 1 canopy, 1 sunstone, 1 ice, 1 dorsal (5 total)

Produced other: 1 gray, 1 mint, 1 xenowyrm, 1 undine, 3 deep seas, 2 plated colossi (9 total)

 

+ Lavinia's gemshard report makes 8 STDS to 15 other breeds. Is that ratio enough to have these guys removed? I got STDs breeding with everything during the first massbreed event, so this is a nice change.

My experience with them is they are not prolific breeders anymore. I see the occasional CB on the AP, which may have nudged them onto the list before. But I think that is from people trying to mine Xenos rather than them being common. I think they may need to be removed.

The Green Nebs were bred with Spotted Greenwings, but I zoned out and bred from the wrong parents. Sorry about that. >< I bred them correctly for the last raffle, if checking that will make it easier to verify.

 

Also, anyone else having better luck with Red-finned Tidals? Between the past two breedings of my four Nebula x Red-Tidal pairs I've gotten:

-Three no-eggs

-One Tidal

-Four Nebulae

I don't have enough to test more, though.
