Posted March 2, 2017 Don't wait. Seriously, do breed them whenever you can to get the Diamondwing ratio in order, otherwise it'll take you ages because Diamondwings are too new compared to Lunars. You could also breed your Diamondwings to some other older breed if you want to save your Lunars. Oh wow, I hadn't even considered ratios! That's a really good point. Thank you! I thought the page was done loading, but it wasn't, so the list of mates shifted. I bred my CB prize to the dragon ABOVE the one I meant to breed it to... Posted March 2, 2017 My Chrono Xenowyrm and Aeon Wyvern aren't giving me Chronos when they breed, which would be better than all the Aeons I am getting, lineage-wise. My derp of the day - decided to mass-breed all my Red-Finned Tidals (anything to improve my chance of getting a 2G Shimmer from one), except I forgot that it had been over a week since I last paired one with LC, so I won't have a male off CD on Sunday when she next breeds. Posted March 3, 2017 (edited) I wouldn't consider this truly bad luck, just frustrating. Both because nothing bad happened AND it was my fault. I self demonstrated an egg description. I looked at my trophy to see how close to locked I am,, thought I had 2 eggs, but I noted it said 3/7 eggs and I'm thinking when I go back to the scroll page "come on it's definitely been more than a day since the last time I messed up biting/EQing." Then I thought "Maybe something hatched in the time between" (I had some ER/close to ER eggs earlier today.) So I check again and... Nope, turns out "This egg is so tiny you almost didn't see it." I forgot I had grabbed a pygmy with a neat code "fear" when the AP was flooded with them, because I haven't focused on collecting them lately. When I reached my bronze trophy, as a newbie, I grabbed 30 pinks. My motivation? As Amazon_warrior said on the last page, refusals are turned off during holiday week. Nasty surprises like that can happen, unfortunately (I have a few pairings like that). At least there's once a year you can always breed them. Edit: Feels like ages since I caught a paper egg (haven't seen them, much less any shinies). I finally saw one just now and missed it. I had this happen to me last year for several pairings I had to switch pairings around and painstakingly rebuild one lineage. I hadn't bred the pairing before the Holiday and just assumed that as they had happily bred during the holiday, all would be well after the Holiday. How wrong I was. Share this post Link to post
