Posted June 8, 2015 still here and still waiting for my pair of step siblings to breed for the project The first Blackfyre has been born! That's right, the Blackfyre house has finally been created. The first egg can be found here. Aegon is clearly not going to be happy about this and in Game of Thrones the Blackfyres were known for trying to overthrow the Targaryens, so we have several choices. 1. We could treat the Blackfyres as regular natural borns 2. We could make a separate list for the Blackfyres and possibly create waiting and breeding lists for them, too 3. We could treat them as full-blooded Targaryens 4. We could create a "rival" project for them, the goal of which would be to overrun the Targaryens by polluting the bloodline and ultimately outnumbering them I'm leaving this up to a vote, so I'd appreciate it if you guys commented which number you prefer. An explanation would be nice, but it isn't necessary. #2 is the best option imo newt's example of Stark vs Karstark is very apt. they're related, but treated as separate bloodlines and families. i would say have 1 2G from Rhaenys (as a bloodscale) and keep the rest in the line Blackfyre's (a Hooktalon) and have the Blackfyre line be non-inbred, with any bloodscales born in the line being eligible to breed into the Targaryen line as a pure-blood Share this post Link to post
Posted June 8, 2015 Okay, with Blackfyres: They have their own, separate lists and stuff, but are otherwise treated as regular Targaryens. Their aim is to dominate and overthrow the Targaryen lineage, but with the headstart that the regular Bloodscales have, there isn't much chance of dwarfing them. Instead, the Blackfyres want to pollute the 'pure' Targaryen blood with their own - they want to mix the Blackfyre Hooktalon breed with the Targaryen Bloodscale breed. The higher the gen, the more 'pure' the blood of either line. Basically, Blackfyres want to have as many of their line as possible who also have Targaryens in their line. Blackfyres want to breed with Targaryens and have the offspring be Hooktalons - should be easy, for a while at least, until their ratios catch up. The Targaryens' aim is simply to have as many Targaryens around as possible, and if that means breeding with a Blackfyre to create a Bloodscale egg, that's cool too. So: (Targaryens favour plus points, Blackbloods minus points) Blackblood/Blackblood = Blackblood, is good for Blackbloods. (-1) Targaryen/Targaryen = Targaryen, is good for Targaryens. (+1) Blackblood/Targaryen = either Hookfang or Bloodscale. If Hookfang, it is a Blackblood, and this is very good for Blackbloods. (-2) If Bloodscale, it is a Targaryen, and this is good for Targaryens. (+1 and prevention of -2) Well that's what I think it should be... Ideas aplenty Share this post Link to post

If we wind up doing separate lists/projects we'll definitely use that! EDIT: It has been noted that Pick107 has allowed one of their gifted eggs to die. The last one I saw was episode 4. I don't like what they're doing with Sansa either, although she IS supposed to get engaged. In particular I hate how they portray Lady Melissandre. I don't like her much in the books either but at least she has some shred of self-respect; she seems to mean well but how she goes about saving the world is wrong, imo. But in the show she just comes across as a -- I dunno what word to use so it doesn't auto-censor... but if you've seen the show you'd get my point. And I like the point system too, to keep on topic.
