The people at the crossroads have a big meaty rooster in their very small chicken pen (read that as dog kennel). I caught sight of it flapping its wings today and my thought was 'it's ready for the pot.'

Tessa is doing okay, but she had some fits the other night. It might be related to her food. I think she might have ingested something sharp somtime in the past, so eating hard food (such as grains) causes pain. I've given her crumbles that are easily digested and she has peaceful nights. With that said, she is eating very well with good appetite, she drinks well and she expels well. She's also been making happier noises, sort of chicken purrs.

3, I helped my friend out with her rooster named Pan who needed his foot bandaged.  She told me that Book's(the boy who was injured as a baby) mom is likely Tessa (the one I am taking care of)
