We have been getting smoke from the fires here on the east coast of the US.

Oh, we are nowhere near the fires, but the smoke is being carried all the way here by the weather patterns. Our skies have been hazy at times with a detectible odor of smoke. Not constantly, but some days. Last night's sunset was very hazy.
