like wth have I forgotten how eyes are shaped its like drawing with the wrong hand

how can shapes be real if our eyes aren't real

To be fair, eyes are not shaped like you would expect them to be. We're taught that eyes are circular or ovular or egg shaped or something, and they're not.

 

I also like drawing hands :> faces are the real kicker for me. I can just about handle the individual face bits, but putting them together is impossible.

I did a whole bunch of hand studies in the past and I'm pretty confident in my ability to whip some floating palms up bc they're fun to draw BUT ATTACHING THEM TO THE WRIST AND ARM

Reckon you could make some creepy-looking dragon based off the hatchetfish (abyssal, not freshwater)? I'm a sucker for all things abyssal and my dragons often draw inspiration from that o3o

 

Edit to add important information: I always though hatchetfish looked like they just got the daylights scared out of them

Hiii if you ever get the time i need to request an anthropomorphic squid. Named Lemon. For reasons. [doesnt necessarily need to be 'humanoid' if thatd be frustrating to work with, i suppose a 'bipedal dragon' would work too, like a veloci but more upright or something. But still squid.]

Element: Water/ Ice (so basically, he won't have any wings, and instead he'd have fins)

Limbs: Two arms, two legs

Body: Elongated (like an eastern dragon, but much slimmer; very similar to a Striped River dragon)

Fins: Four in total- two on his "ribs", two just a bit upfront of his hind legs

Other: Has a lot of "light bulbs" on his form like [this]

Element: Lightning/ Light/ Storm (large wingspan to conduct heat/electricity)

Scale Color(s): --

Limbs: Two arms, two legs (can be a wyvern if you'd prefer that)

Body: Close, like a Gold Dragon

Wings: Basically, large wings with sharp tips

Other: Has spikes running along his spine to conduct electricity
