Posted March 28, 2015 I'm gonna laugh when jemstone color is based on what time we pick them up or something like that and all us first hour or so catchers have all the same color OMG, never thought of that possibility, lol. But then at least we'd have pairs, lol. I was sorta wondering what was going to happen Influencing mine, probably wind up with 2 females of the same colour and one male of a different, lol. Posted March 28, 2015 If there are 3 forms then hopefully the forms will just be random, since I think Pyralspites and Coppers are the only other ones with 3 forms and both of those are based off biome. Oh, like Nebulas, yes that would be fun. A bit frustrating when building lineages and you don't get the color you need, sure, but so extremely satisfying once you reach the desired gen and you look at what you created. <3 Share this post Link to post
Posted March 28, 2015 I am glad I didn't have any other eggs! they vanish faster than rares! I was about to give up on getting a puddle! then I somehow managed to click one in time I slightly panicked when I saw all the biomes empty. I thought something was broke, then I saw the release and went to the forest and jungle I wonder if the plated is two headed? no idea what makes me think that... Share this post Link to post
Posted March 28, 2015 Thank the Lord for these new releases! Things were admittedly getting quite stale on DC for me. Thanks so much DC team! Posted March 28, 2015 (edited) I keep looking at the jewel encrusted one and thinking chocolate chip cookies w/ M&Ms. I even keep telling my friend GET THE COOKIE EGG! And does anyone have any notion of how rare any of these will be? Hunting tip: If you're trying to get a certain number of each (for example, two) fill up all your slots except two with AP eggs. Hunt only for one egg and once you catch your two, abandon AP eggs to free up slots for the next thing you want to catch. Happy hunting everyone! Edited to add: So say I have shinies to breed for trade fodder. In people's experience, how long should I wait after a release to breed them? Posted March 28, 2015 Hmm, Ruby, Emerald and Sapphire? The only problem with that is that while rubies and sapphires are both corundum stones, just in different colors, emerald is a green beryl. So I'll be really curious to see how they tie those together if that's what's going on here. I dropped a ND project to empty all 6 slots. Got two of each and influenced. We'll see what happens... Posted March 28, 2015 Here's what I did. 1. Went to the biome page 2. Hovered my pointer over the egg I wanted to get (left, middle, or right? I went for right) 3. Hit F5 and clicked immediately upon reload It's not guaranteed, and if you're on a really slow connection it's really not guaranteed, but after several unsuccessful attempts I came to the conclusion that I was never going to get an egg upon initial page load.
