I suddenly got two chest drops in a row! Both painted history though, does anybody want to swap? Any other type of chest is fine, unless I'm lucky enough to get it within two days.

 

I've leveled my dragons all the way up to lv 23, I'll be tincturing them after the festivals are over. If I grind just a little bit more in the higher level parts I might make it to lv 25 tonight. I've been grinding in the Forgotten Caves and the Arena so I'm not getting Exp

 

I've also gotten almost all the skins, just missing the two Tundra skins that I left for last. I'm happy that people were selling the two Baldwin skins in the AH, managed to nab both quite cheaply.

 

Edit: Forgot to ask, should I open Crystallized Satchels? That description is making me a little wary...

Congrats on the chests!! : D I would have wanted to swap with you but I've been having an influx of Painted History chests too, there's plenty of chest swapping threads in the item trading subforum though. o: I bet you'll be able to get a swap there!

 

I think you should open them if you wanna! There's only 200 treasure in them though. I think in some/most of the higher level venues there's always some kind specialised openable (not sure if real word lol) item that acts like a chest dropping there.

 

On another note.. I managed to get a Woodland Turkey familiar! Are they seasonal familliars? And I got the Woodland Turkey crate in like the battle right afterwards, it contains the themes skin for it I think? I'll just throw that in my vault then.

I got the Turkey familiar as well, I think they only show up once a year . Haven't gotten the crate yet, but then again I'm not farming in that area at all right now lol. Maybe I should put off leveling for a bit

I've gotten 7 Painted History chests in the coli so far and 2~3 each of the other ones, wut. x'D

 

Also got a "Meditation Crate" from Boreal while I was still turkey hunting, checked the price of it on the AH and chucked it in my vault, don't want to accidentally open that now lol. I can't really find the actual skin for it on the AH, does anyone know how much the actual skin would go for?

Coli skins don't usually go for much - I've sold some for maybe 12K or so.

 

I don't have a Turkey yet and it's not looking likely but I've got the weekend to keep trying at least.

I've only got 2 festival chests so far (the mobs are being stingy ), also, is it just me or are the minor potions healing for 200 instead of 100? Beginning to think they either made a typo in the flavor text, or they booboo'd with the actual potion

I've been getting a good amount of chest drops, not a lot, but it looks like the event is gonna be over soon and I'm satisfied with the amount that I've got.

 

Might go and farm for that Turkey crate soon.

I'm still saving up some money to buy the skins in the Marketplace, I have one of each thing from Festive Favors, but I'll be saving up for more. I hope I can buy one of each skin, but I'll be paying Obsessive back for the last Eliminate tonight first.

 

I hope I'm doing OK for a newbie, I took a look at the lairs of other newbies and some already have a full team of lv 25 dragons along with most of the skins, just, how???

Trix, compared to me, you're doing much, much, better. My highest level is 13. I've no skins/accents whatsoever. I know nothing of genes. I only have 70K treasure. I have no eliminates, berserkers, or ambushes...Honestly, I'm playing as a complete casual. You're doing fine. EDITEDIT: Bruhhhh. Just after I post this I got a berserker stone as a drop in the coli!

Anyway. Wow. I guess I'm just unlucky af then. I've yet to run into any chests, I've been hunting in Earth for the past two days and no turkey...and wow. RNG is not on my side. Edit to say that I'm mostly farming in the Forgotten Cave now, so hopefully I'll get lucky. Did not get lucky lmao.

 

I've also yet to encounter a normal chest (aside from...the cheap ones with just a couple hundred treasure) either. Good thing I'm just a casual. I'll probably kick myself every day in the future if I get attached to this site.
