Posted July 22, 2015 An exact copy of his father except the more matching eye color. It was claimed that it's an exact copy of the father. While this is true gene/color wise, putting the picture in there implies that it's going to look like the picture when it grows up (disregarding apparel/eye color). It might be very hard for a newer player to tell that it wouldn't look exactly like the preview. It might be easy to know to disregard eye color because you said that, and apparel because we know that apparel doesn't come with dragons. It's easy to imagine what a dragon will look like without apparel and with a different eye color, but when an entire color of the dragon preview is hidden by an accent, you can't as easily imagine what it will look like without the accent because there is nothing to go on. If a player is not familiar with accents and genes, they might see some blue in the baby wings and see the blue of the accent and assume that the baby will grow up to have wings looking like the accent, perhaps just with the purple hidden under apparel. If the accent were a completely different color, and/or didn't hide everything of one gene/color, then I think it would be easier to assume the accent was a modification, and not literally an exact copy. The scried adult has a purple tint on the parts of the wings that are near the neck/head. The texture is subtle enough that a new player (or even not-so-new player) might not know at a glance that it's an accent. And even if you do know it's an accent, it completely covering the secondary color/gene means that the adult is not very useful for previewing how the secondary will look as an adult. I can as well don't show any previews, seriously I can't see any difference how that would help/make things difficult. Newbies have brains, they can figure things out, not like they can't click a dragon and see "OK but how do I dress it up like this example? Oh, with THESE items". ._.
