Posted February 2, 2015 So with breeding most likely starting in less than a week, what are you expecting from this year's valentine event and the dragon release? I am secretly wishing that maybe one year they re-released the bright-pink as a valentine dragon. Of course, if the dragon that they're planning is just as good as last years' I will certainly love it! The radiant angel is one of my favourite dragons! Share this post Link to post
Posted February 2, 2015 I'm hoping we get an Eastern-Styled dragon, with a White, Bright Pink, and Scarlet color scheme, with hints of Gold and Maroon. (Although that may be too similar to the Radiant Angels. Share this post Link to post
Posted February 2, 2015 (edited) The radiant angels were really good, I agree! It's always exciting to see what we get. I always just hope for a nicely-sprited breed. Some of the sprites are so detailed with great colour combos. Edited February 2, 2015 by harlequinraven Share this post Link to post
Posted February 2, 2015 I've only been in 2 events so far, (2014 Halloween and 2014 Christmas) and they have both managed to surprise me with new releases, so I'm hoping that Valentine's 2015 will do the same. Share this post Link to post
Posted February 2, 2015 I'd love to see the new V-day dragon have a darker color scheme similar to the black Sweetling Alts, since many people like making lineages with them but might not have CBs of their own. Maybe a sneaky dragon who enjoys pairing up with other dragons only to break their hearts later on? Or, like Heartseekers, they like to match up couples, but then break them up just for kicks? I dunno, but I think it'd be fun to have a breed that's not all pink-flowery-hearts-candy-love-sparkles. Share this post Link to post
Posted February 3, 2015 I want to see a kind of drake. There should be more drakes and there aren't. If we get a holiday one, then we might get more drake sprites. I'd like to see a deep red drake with white accents. Or something like that. Share this post Link to post
Posted February 3, 2015 And what about a adorable Valentine Pygmy? We need more Pygmies. Share this post Link to post
Posted February 3, 2015 what about a red dragon? red is associated with Valentines day too so that would be a nice change. Share this post Link to post

Posted February 3, 2015 While we're speculating about more limited breeds, why not a two-headed Valentine dragon? For a holiday about couples it seems appropriate, and not all love is purely romantic. For colors, I'd also like something other than pink. Maybe purple. Purple would be awesome. Posted February 3, 2015 I would approve of a cream colored white chocolate pygmy! Â It would be nice to have a Valentine Dragon that isn't pinkish. Share this post Link to post

Posted February 3, 2015 I'd love a chocolate brown or purple dragon for Valentine's day... crimson is also very pretty. Don't get me wrong, I love the pink Valentine dragons that we do have, but I think we've got enough. Â Just a straight up chocolate dragon, deep brown with a drizzle of white chocolate on top... yum. Posted February 3, 2015 With the variety we've been seeing in the christmas releases in terms of color I'm sure we'll see the same with valentine's dragons. A purple pygmy though, I had not thought of that and would to see it! Â Pastel colors are a great choice too, maybe they could be candy-themed. Share this post Link to post

My lilacs are not there yet, but perhaps next year.  For the chocolate, there are of course always these https://forums.dragcave.net/index.php?showtopic=95922  Though still being in the completed section means probably not this time. Posted February 3, 2015 Yes! More pygmies! And I really hope they're pink again. Sorry it's my favorite color. Pink + pygmy = best thing ever. Share this post Link to post
Posted February 3, 2015 Yes! More pygmies! And I really hope they're pink again. Sorry it's my favorite color. Pink + pygmy = best thing ever. Perhaps a carnation Pygmy, then maybe (if they are finished) TJ could do a spring flower Pygmy event, and the lilacs and carnation and tulip (and probably others I haven't seen) pygmies can all get released together. Posted February 3, 2015 A chocolate dragon would be awesome! It could have so many cute toppings. Share this post Link to post
Posted February 3, 2015 I wouldn't mind a drake or another eastern. Here are the color combos I'm hoping for this year: hot pink/black, white/brown/gold/red (chocolate boxes!), white/light pink, peach, red/black, conversation heart candy colors (rainbow), blue/pink, purple/magenta. There are more, but I would probably go on forever. Share this post Link to post
Posted February 3, 2015 (edited) Ooo, how about something like a baby's breath pygmy? Since the flower is frequently part of bouquets. A little flower for a little dragon. Edited February 3, 2015 by ytak Share this post Link to post
