Posted January 17, 2015 It's an interesting idea of having a dragon specie who can breed to more than one colouring of stripes, but ofcourse I understand it might be a little confusing and/or fustrating to breeders trying to create a true lineage. Other than that I do support them breeding black instead. It visually makes more sense, even if they are navy blue at their core We already have dragons that will breed more than one color of stripe offspring. Look at Winter Magi. I see electric as navy blue. It would spice things up if they bred white, blue, and black. Share this post Link to post

Posted January 22, 2015 Striped breeding is decided by me. And electric dragons aren't black, and they're not really bright blue enough to be blue, so I left them at the default. ^^^This. I would love for them to breed black stripes, but as they aren't black, I'm not seeing much point. I don't really like the look of them with blue stripes, so I nominate that they stay default. I recalled that when I looked at that pair less than a week ago, I was rather confused about all the White Stripeds in the offspring listing. Thing is, what a computer program thinks is the average color of a sprite is obviously not the same as what the human eye thinks is the average color. (There was an incident in kindergarten (yes, the actual German thing where kids below 6 years go to) when an officer from the NVA (the Eastern German version of an army) was presenting himself in front of the group and tried to explain why his choice of career would be a good thing. However, he somehow got drawn into a discussion with one of the boys regarding the color of his uniform, which he insisted was dark blue, but the boy only saw black. In the end, the whole group just discussed the color and completely ignored what that officer actually had visited us for Human perception is a fun thing at times.) Share this post Link to post
