Posted November 6, 2014 So I was thinking, how about after you unlock all of the information, when you uncover the last set of notes, it updates your breed count to the actual number of dragons you own of that breed? (yes, I still want to see actual numbers) Share this post Link to post
Posted November 8, 2014 I would definitely like to see this. Otherwise for players who have been here before the encyclopaedia was created, the only way to get an accurate number is to release all your previous dragons. Which obviously isn't ideal. Share this post Link to post
Posted November 8, 2014 (edited) yespls At the very least. It would make me feel like my dragons count SOMEWHERE Edited November 8, 2014 by edwardelricfreak Share this post Link to post
Posted November 8, 2014 If this was implemented, it would give me a reason to try and unlock everything in the Encyclopedia, as it would actually be of use to me personally. +Support Share this post Link to post
Posted November 8, 2014 Yes yes so much yes. I want to have the encyclopedia recognise all the years of work I've already put into my scroll! And this way still makes everyone do the work to unlock the entries first. Share this post Link to post
Posted November 8, 2014 Yes!! It makes me so angry that the dragons I have already don't count. Share this post Link to post
Posted November 8, 2014 please, yes. In my mind, while I totally got that the encyclopaedia started over to give people a fair chance, it annoyed me that the number count was wrong. Share this post Link to post
Posted November 8, 2014 I like that idea. Like how omgitskairi suggested in my thread then. https://forums.dragcave.net/index.php?showtopic=164307&st=20 Share this post Link to post
Posted November 9, 2014 Wait... so you mean that they deliberately made it so that the Encyclopaedia DOESN'T count the dragons we had before? I thought it was just an accident D: Share this post Link to post

I thought it was just an accident D: It is an encyclopaedia, not a record of what's in your scroll. I'd be fine if it had NOTHING to say about our scrolls, actually. I'd like that info to be directly available FROM our scrolls. Share this post Link to post
Posted November 10, 2014 I support this. Breed count is useful information, so I support it being available, in the encyclopedia or elsewhere. (Whereas saying that I owned 118 Cavern Lurker eggs is just silly and of no use to me. ) Share this post Link to post

Posted November 10, 2014 Support. This makes sense to me, and though I don't want the dragons I owned previously to the release of the Encyclopedia to count toward unlocking information, I still would very much like to see my actual breed count numbers. This seems like a good compromise. Share this post Link to post

I'd like that info to be directly available FROM our scrolls. This would make sense, a running count of what we currently have of each breed accessible through our scrolls. You wouldn't really expect an encyclopedia to function as a tool in that regard, although it would certainly be nice to have this function ANYWHERE on-site! Share this post Link to post
Posted November 10, 2014 thought: maybe a separate totals page of the encyclopedia? that way it's not encroaching on the already existing page. Share this post Link to post
Posted November 19, 2014 (edited) Yes, just yes. That way, members who raised dragons before the Encyclopedia can have their previous dragons count. Edited November 19, 2014 by Hazel360 Share this post Link to post
