Posted September 24, 2014 Almandine Pyralspites are the Alpine biome variant of the new eggs. There is no dimorphism. I'll make one thread for each variant, due to their different colours (as someone, I forget who, suggested in the news thread). Posted September 24, 2014 The one with the flamingo and purple nebula look really awesome! The cavern lurker is great too, really wish I had some CBs to breed it with. From my tests, it seems like almandines work really well with things that highlight the darker portions of it, usually dark things. Maybe reds? Share this post Link to post

Posted September 24, 2014 Everyone should know by now that I always line up new dragons with Sweetlings first, so... Sweetlings look MASSIVE next to them but of course they look nice (I swear Sweetlings match everything). I do prefer the alts with them though, just so that it's not overpoweringly pink. / I think I like this. Might be better if the Pyralspite were a slightly lighter shade, but the purple is still nice. *drools* Gosh, I really want that but Valentine's Day season is chaotic enough with just Sweetlings. Plus, an entire lineage filled with nothing but sassy, sassy dragons? <3 <3 Although male tan ridgewing and female almandine is rather interesting. I can't decide if I like it or not. Posted September 24, 2014 I'm going to have to visit the other threads too. I tried these on the AoND lineage viewer with rainbow coppers, because they're both alpine dragons and because of copper breeding mechanics. Because everything musts be paired with coppers. Not sure the colors exactly go, as the almandine is very bright and copper is less so. Share this post Link to post
