Posted August 19, 2014 (edited) My first game was Yellow. And my Gen III games are bootlegs and don't work right, so my second is pretty well Pearl Gen III is my favorite, but I actually picked it because of the plethora of odd type combinations Will look in a moment KN EDIT: Accepted, though that last line in the trainer sheet is a bit weird, I'll probs cut it when I add it to the accepted charries We're starting when I feel like there's few enough types left to make NPCs of, or I get impatient enough to say go anywhales Also, will be adding Gen V, to give Bug access to all the remaining types , after I finish my chores owo Seriously though, Gen III gives Doctor Poison, Rock, Ground, and Ghost. Then Gen V adds Grass, Fire, and Electric. I swear I'm not doing this intentionally >_> Edited August 19, 2014 by MasterWeavile898 Share this post Link to post
Posted August 19, 2014 Grass is open to me, sweet! I'll lock onto that one (even though I'm going to regret it because I'll be busy lmao). I'll edit my form into this post in a bit. Share this post Link to post
Posted August 19, 2014 Alright, if you're quick I can copy/paste before I have to get off this PC ^^ Share this post Link to post
Posted August 19, 2014 I'm having the hardest time deciding on a starter. So many good grass types. How would switching moves like U-turn, Dragon Tail and Roar affect Veins, anyway? What about self-KO moves like Explosion and Healing Wish? Share this post Link to post
Posted August 19, 2014 Are the pokemon allowed to learn/forget moves in the RP? Share this post Link to post
Posted August 19, 2014 (edited) They would have the effects they have when the opponent/user is the only Pokemon left on their team. For Pokemon: Dragon Tail won't force switches unless the opponent is pushed into ~ten feet of the trainer (sound fair?) Roar always works though, U-Turn and Volt Switch give the user the choice to switch but don't force it Self-KO faints the Pokemon and disconnects you from the Vein Yes their movesets can change Edited August 19, 2014 by MasterWeavile898 Share this post Link to post
Posted August 19, 2014 (edited) Still taking sign ups? If so, can I have fire? I shall edit this post later with a character and Pokemon... Gender ratio is horrible with 2:1 and 3:1 in favor of female for human and Pokemon respectively (but only because metagross is genderless), making male character for both pkmn and human. Username: SoiledLove Character Name: Blaise Valentine Age: 20 Gender: Male Personality: Contrary to what his type implies, Blaise is a very apathetic individual. When he was younger, he went through books with a breeze and was called a genius. He had Conduct Disorder and, after devouring psychology books at the age of ten, learned to hide it very well. He's good at acting normal, at pretending he understands others, at acting like someone else entirely. He should've been diagnosed with Anti-Social Personality Disorder (Sociopathy) when he was eighteen, but he was good at being Prince Charming, a very intelligent, relatively rich, gentleman with a bright future in front of him. He's manipulative and cold under that warm, loving exterior and always has a logical, selfish reason for doing something. He never fears anything and almost never panics, however, due to his previous eidetic memory, he's subconsciously deeply uneased by the fact that he cannot remember anything which causes him to be snappish and show the Sociopathical side of him. He hates not understanding and, thus, hates empathy and love, but he does understand many things on a intellectual level. He hates hard work, unless it's to satisfy his own curiosity and therefore portrays himself as laid back and easy-going to the people around him. When in battle, always goes for the offensive and quick, he's vicious and efficient. Type: Fire Partner(s): Seraphim Other: Prefers science to actual battling. While he doesn't have a passion for anything, does know a lot about psychology and uses that when training his Pokemon and battling others. Name: Seraphim Species: Charizard Trainer: Blaise Valentine Gender: Male Nature and Personality: Battle Nature: Lonely. Seraphim is a generally aloof and quiet Pokemon, and gets aggressive and annoyed easily when crowded. The only person he stands is his trainer and and other Pokemon belonging to his trainer. He looks down on most other Pokemon and takes advantage of his looks and size to cause psychological effects on other Pokemon. Due to Blaise's influence, he's very intelligent as well and uses psychology to his advantage. Ability: Blaze Move 1: Heat Wave Move 2: Outrage (Breeding) Move 3: Air Slash Move 4: Flamethrower Edited August 19, 2014 by SoiledLove Share this post Link to post
Posted August 19, 2014 This looks cool Username: RoD Character Name: Theodore 'Theo' Smith Age: 21 Gender: male Personality: mysterious and queit, it's hard sometimes to think what Theo is thinking. Most of the time, he scaes people since he is so quiet and tends to sneak up on people, even if he doesn't mean it Type: Ghost Partner(s): Myst Other: I'm horrible wih descriptions Name: Myst Species: Banette Trainer: Theodore Smith Gender: Female Nature and Personality: Myst is really brave when protecting her trainer. She will never once give up the fight until she faints. She was seperated from her original owner a few months before she met Theo. When she saw how special he was, she decided to join him and be forever loyal to him. -Brave Nature- Ability: Insomnia Move 1: Shadow Ball Move 2: Sucker Punch Move 3: Calm Mind Move 4: Double Team Share this post Link to post
Posted August 19, 2014 You may indeed, Soiled Accepted, RoD And lol, I'll fix that in the accepted characters as soon as I can Last call for claiming types before I close things Rock, Ground, Electric, and Poison remain (right?) Share this post Link to post
Posted August 19, 2014 (edited) I'll take electric, if nobody else wants it. :c (Lanturn is water-electric) Edited August 19, 2014 by KoalaNoob Share this post Link to post
Posted August 19, 2014 All claimed, sign-ups closed. Leaving, will edit later Remember, opposite genders. Nuetral if you must Share this post Link to post
Posted August 19, 2014 Thanks for the males, Soiled Though I do have to mention that Charizard is only about five feet tall (can't recall its weight) Not that it's small, you just kinda make it sound like it'll be a lot bigger than anyone else in the RP Anywhales, accepted. As always, will update when I can copy/paste Share this post Link to post
Posted August 20, 2014 (edited) Ye. Took me long enough. Username: TehUltimateMage Character Name: Larissa Blanchefleur Age: 18 Gender: Female Personality: Larissa might seem sweet, cute, or maybe even a bit clumsy, but therein lies a trap that would snare unsuspecting victims into doing her favors -- not that they would feel victimized. Larissa is an all around fun person to be around. She spins entertaining tales about her life which may be nothing but lies. She is energetic and lives life one day at a time; she meets challenges that come her way head-on. If she agrees, count on her to put plans into motion no matter how many rules she'll need to break on the way (she is bad at following instructions). Larissa also has a keen eye for guessing others' motivations through their body language -- she uses that information to her advantage. At her core, she is ambitious, narcissistic, and intolerant of things that waste her time. She is a good improviser and constantly lies about many things, from her childhood memories to her favorite breakfast food. Around her, you're never sure what is false and what is true. She likes pretty things, and according to her there's nothing uglier than the truth. Type: Grass Partner(s): Sceptile Other: Part of her bubblegum-pink hair is tied into a pair of twintails to accentuate the cute image she aims to project. Name: King Species: Sceptile Trainer: Larissa Gender: Male Nature and Personality: Rash. King is arrogant and full of himself. He does not consider the consequences of being rude -- why should he? He walks with a swagger and a sneer knowing that not many pokemon could hope to match his speed. His overconfidence makes him reckless. Even when he tastes defeat, he does not like to admit it; he will keep trying until he eventually wins no matter the type disadvantage. To this end, King is not above using cheap-shots; he believes in effectiveness and efficiency in achieving a goal. In some circumstances some might even view him as cruel, but like his trainer, he is merely too ambitious. Ability: Overgrow Move 1: Dig Move 2: Giga Drain Move 3: Leaf Blade Move 4: Leech Seed Man, Grass/Fire is going to get along fabulously. I wonder who will end up manipulating who? Posted August 20, 2014 (edited) So I had to make my trainer female and I couldn't say no to a female Skuntank. Sorry y'all, but I had to. Username: Doctortear Character Name: Ina Ehzno Age: 25 Gender: Female Personality: Ina is a flirt if there every was one. It doesn't matter what gender someone identifies with or what sexuality they claim, if they're human, they can be flirted with. Ina tends to make people uncomfortable in the first encounter, but will gradually stoop down to their level and act in a way in which they are comfortable. Ina cares deeply about how others feel and will treat those she likes with respect. Though not a genius, Ina is somewhat intelligent and knowledgeable about a great dear of lore. She can get serious when necessary, but most of the time, Ina remains charismatic and sarcastic. She can get charming at times and is almost always willing to crack a joke. Ina has little desire for a relationship, but can be persuaded if said suitor is truly cares about her. Type: Poison Partner(s): Pumpkin Other: Ina has is a chef prodigy but she cares little about her skills. Name: Pumpkin Species: Skuntank Trainer: Ina Ehzno Gender: Female Nature and Personality: Being a rather naughty individual, Pumpkin compliments her trainer's flirty nature in an interesting fashion. She tends to do a little flirting herself, but is more than happy to make people uncomfortable with her advances, unlike her trainer. She revels in the idea of making others upset and seeks out to make people uneasy. She enjoys meddling with others' minds, but knows better than to ruin serious relationships or get into too deep of trouble. Pumpkin is extremely vain and takes ever opportunity to flaunt her beauty. She takes insults quite well, but can find offense on prods of her scent. Pumpkin tends to try and keep others from getting close to her, however, when she is befriended, Pumpkin turns into a sweet gal who is eager to help her companions find someone to keep them warm at night. Ability: Keen Eye Move 1: Toxic Move 2: Flamethrower Move 3: Explosion Move 4: Dig Edited August 20, 2014 by Doctortear Share this post Link to post
