Cranewing, Deputy

Upon hearing a cat approaching, the strong deputy froze, his hackles rising slightly. Could that loner from earlier be returning, actually willing to speak with him. Forcing his fur flat, Cranewing turned to see a silvery she-cat, causing him to relax slightly. The scent of loner hung on her, informing him that she wasn't a Clancat. Once he heard her question, Cranewing narrowed his eyes. He knew he couldn't go back at the moment, not until his quest was finished, if the journeyers ever set off and picked him up. The deputy stood tall of the loner, keeping his intimidating appearance, yet his tone was more gentle and informative. You mean Cloudclan? Ah, yes, we're a very nice and humble clan, but I cannot return there just yet, not until a moon. I'm the deputy there, known as Cranewing. Since I can't help you arrive there, I can give you directions to a patrol that will escort you to our camp. Cranewing began with a small nod, his gaze drifting across the lake where Smokeypaw wept. He hoped the little apprentice was alright, as he never liked seeing the innocent young she-cat upset, in fact, no-one did. Over there is a patrol made of three cats, two she-cats and a tom. Two are apprentices named Smokeypaw and Stormpaw, the other cat is a warrior, a she-cat named Songbreeze. They're nice cats, they may only question you for a bit before taking you in.

Silverclaw, warrior (hopefully)

"Thank you" the she cat meowed. "I have been a loner for far to long and wish to live among other cats" she meows again. She thanks the cat, Cranewing, and heads off in the direction he instructed. She sees the cats and pads up to them. "Hello a cat named Cranewing told me to come talk to you" she says to the new cats. "Wanted to join your Clan, CloudClan" she mews.

Rose

Tired of lying around in a den that had scents that still burned her nose, Rose stood up and went out of the Medicine Cat den. Crossing over the boundary of the opening, she is overwhelmed by the smells of the cats in the clearing. As she looked around she saw some of them were in groups and eating on various forms of what she was fed. Rose's eyes found one with a swollen belly and padded over to find out what is wrong with her. Hello! Your belly is big, is there anything wrong? Are you sick? After asking she sat and looked at the beautiful she-cat awaiting her answer, worried and scared.

Songbreeze, Warrior

Songbreeze simply blinked at the she-cat, confused by her sudden appearance. Cranewing had sent her? So he hadn't totally left the territory, but that was no surprise to her. Smokeypaw soon returned to the creamy tabby's side, still looking glum, with her head and tail unusually low to the ground. Songbreeze knew the news of Cranewing being safe would brighten her mood, so she was sure to tell Smokeypaw of it. Cranewing went you, our deputy? Well then, I guess that means you're an ok cat, you'll just need to speak to Mistystar about joining. Remain close to me, I don't want you to wonder off. Songbreeze meowed, smiling down at Smokeypaw as her ears pricked at the name of Cranewing. With a flick of her tail, Songbreeze turned towards camp, motioning for the she-cat to follow her. The creamy warrior made her way back to camp, occasionally looking over her shoulder to make sure Silverclaw followed as she trudged to camp. Smokeypaw took up the rear with Stormpaw, the black-and-silver she-cat's tail waving slightly as she walked.

Fleckpelt, Warrior

Fleckpelt kept his head low, a slightly weepy look visible on his face. Unlike the rest of his clanmates, he didn't take a piece to feast on, as he had not a soul to share with. With his shoulders slumped slightly, Fleckpelt trudged to the other side of camp to sit along with his gaze on the ground. Songbreeze...I'm so sorry for whatever I did, please forgive me... Fleckpelt cried inside his head, pulling his forepaws closer to his body, refusing to cry out loud. He didn't want to show his sadness, but he couldn't help it, Songbreeze's rejection had strongly effected him. He felt like he had no-one, he thought that he had no-one, when in reality, he still had his clan and family, though small, and they still needed him.

Silverclaw, warrior (hopefully)

As Silverclaw followed she was amazing at how many cats were in the camp. She hadn't ever really seen a Clan camp before. "So, where is the one you said I should speak to Mistystar, right?"She asked intrest in her deep blue eyes. She was bubbling with excitement but still nervous about meeting all the new Clan cats. She couldn't tell if they'd accept her right away or not. Whatever way it goes I'm sure I'll be perfectly fine she thought hopefully. For now she just followed Songbreeze into the camp.

Songbreeze, Warrior, & Fleckpelt, Warrior

Songbreeze nodded towards the feasting cats. She'll be upon them, as we're feasting before the journeyers take off. Just stick close and don't get lost. She ordered, dismissing Smokeypaw and Stormpaw with a flick of her tail. Being sure to avoid tails and paws, the creamy warrior made her way through the crowd, stretching her neck to look about and make out her leader. She then spotted a familiar black-and-silver cat in the distance, alone, slumping away from his Clanmates. A frown fell upon the she-cat's face as she watched Fleckpelt. Just gazing at the upset tom made her feel guilty, as she didn't mean her words to hit. Her gaze burned in his pelt, causing him to turn and gaze gloomily at her. Fleckpelt narrowed his eyes at the newcomer beside Songbreeze, causing his fur to rise slightly along his spine. Getting up, Fleckpelt made his way to his "ex-girlfriend" and Silverclaw, his gaze serious yet welcoming.

And who is this, Songbreeze? The young silver-flecked warrior questioned, his tone revealing no emotions. He no longer looked weak and upset, he now looked like his normal brave and loyal self, gazing down at the newcomer with a confused look. Fleckpelt then raised his head, gazing around for his sister to make sure she was alright.

Silverclaw, warrior (hopefully)

"Ok I'll stay near" Silver claw mewed. She tilted her head in confusion as Songbreeze frowned. Silverclaw, of course, didn't know the tom that was approaching them. Hmm I wonder why Singbreeze looks so displeased with him Silverclaw thought quizzically.

Songbreeze, Warrior, & Fleckpelt, Warrior

Her name isn't any of your business, Fleckpelt. She's hear to talk with Mistystar to join, not with you. Songbreeze replied firmly, watching Fleckpelt narrow his eyes sharply, looking quite offended by his friend. What had happened between them? Was it simply because Fleckpelt said he wasn't ready for kits, while she wanted them? The cream tabby she-cat looked away from Fleckpelt, searching for their leader once more. Fleckpelt ended up padding away with his ears flattened against his head, hurt by Songbreeze and her bitter words. He sat away from the crowd once more, still refusing to eat. Ignoring Fleckpelt, Songbreeze motioned for Silverclaw to follow as she spotted Mistystar. She called out the leader's name, making her way over to the she-cat before dipping her head in acknowledgement. Mistystar, this loner would like to join our clan.

Silverclaw stayed next to Songbreeze as they approached Mistystar. What will she think of me? Silverclaw thought worriedly. Silverclaw was still confused by why Songbreeze was so mad at Fleckpelt. Oh well, I hope Mistystar likes me, I'm tired of living alone Silverclaw thought.

Willowpaw

Nodding, she hurried to keep up with her brother, following him to the fresh-kill pile. As he grabbed something to eat, she moved to lay next to him, her pelt brushing against his. "Thistlepaw, are you upset with me?" Willowpaw asked softly, not yet taking her first bite from her share. "I don't want us to be on bad terms. You're my brother and my closest friend," she remarked, still softly. She knew that he was upset and she was certain it was because of her decision to sneak away with the journeying cats but, this was an opportunity she wanted to take. He would worry over her, she was certain of it, just as their parents would.

But, she wanted to experience more than just the clan and its territory. She wanted to explore a new region and feel like she was doing something worthwhile for Cloudclan. Sure, she was decent at hunting and good at fighting but, so were many others in the clan. At least, if she went on this journey, she could stand out more prove herself better.

Feathertail

Motioning with her tail, the white feline grabbed a fish large enough for her and her mate to share, leaving much plumper looking prey for the journeyers. Finding a peaceful place, she glanced at Aspenfang to make sure he was planning on joining her. "After the journeyers have departed, would you like to come with me on a patrol? I plan to ask Mistystar to be part of it. It would be lovely to have you at my side, love," she inquired, tail brushing faintly against the ground as she sat back on her haunches. "Perhaps we might also be able to take a break and go swimming in the river again."

Aspenfang, Warrior

Aspenfang followed his mate at a slow and calm pace, his tail waving slightly as he walked, his gaze soft for his beloved mate, the mother of his kits, their kits... He settled down beside Feathertail, letting his fur brush against her soft white pelt, the tom letting out a warm, rumbly purr. He nudged the fish closer to Feathertail, offering his mate the first bite as he listened to her question. To patrol with his mate and be by her side would be great, even if their kits didn't tag along. Of course I'd love to patrol with you, my sweet. I've been in the mood for a good swim. He murmured in a gentle tone, crossing his forepaws as he thought of swimming with his mate. Their little swimming adventure earlier had been a great family-bonding time, and even if their kits couldn't go, he'd still enjoy every heartbeat of being with Feathertail. Perhaps we could watch the journeyers go by while we swim, and say our last goodbyes? Aspenfang suggested, wrapping his tail around his body. He gazed into his mate's eyes, letting out another purr before gazing off with a smile.

Sagepaw

She didn't want to intrude on Thistlepaw and Willowpaw, and instead, Sagepaw made her way over to the pile and picked out a small fish. Sagepaw carried it over and started eating. She had always loved fish, in fact maybe if she had to choose between any prey she could stay alive on, fish would be her choice. She wondered if on the journey the patrol could catch fish. Where would they be heading? They were following the river, thats one thing, so fish plenty. But what was beyond that? Beyond the hills that Cloudclan marked as their territory moons ago. Would they find other clans? Maybe clans of dogs?

Sagepaw giggled to herself at that thought. Dogs were stupid creatures to the cats. They would run around not knowing what to do. She munched on the last pieces of fish in her paws and blinked, her belly content.

Nightwing

The queen laughed softly, bringing the kit closer with her tail. "No, I have kits. Soon they will be born, and will be my daughters and sons," she explained. She paused, looking at Rose with curious eyes. She would need a mother, a foster one and a foster father. Maybe she and her mate were able to take her in as a daughter. She would need to ask Mistystar. Perhaps after the journeying cats had left.

((This roleplay needs to stay alive, I love it! It shall not die, but I think when the journey begins we will become more active.)

Feathertail

When offered the first bite, Feathertail took it, listening to her mate's response. Purring with pleasure, she smiled at him. "Lovely! I certainly want to wish the group good luck." she stated. "It must be a balking thought, traveling for who-knows-how-long into strange places where anything can happen," she murmured, worry for her clan mates leaking into her voice. "I'm glad none of us four are going. I don't know how I'd be able to handle the stress. But, I do wish no one had to go in the first place."
