TJ's turned yellow when they hatched. I'm hoping that will happen for us, too.

I was speculating that, perhaps the yellow might be a hybrid based off of the Horse and Shimmer Scales...or even this came to mind.

I am pretty sure you will know once they hatch, because I am pretty sure TJs were yellow from the timed they hatched.

ASSUMING the gold-coloured ones are breed-only, it could be something to do with PB breeding? And since Undines come from 2 different biomes, that could be a clue.

 

So has anyone bred...

... from both biomes - Mountain Undine x Forest Undine?

... from the same biome - Mountain Undine x Mountain Undine?

... from the same biome - Forest Undine x Forest Undine?

 

 

This is all speculation, but I'm going to try that when mine grow up.

When i woke up still all sleepy i read that you cant wait till your undies grow up.

So i decided to name one of them a bit funny and it includes your name, if you don`t like it say it and i will rename.

I now have 7 eggs and hatchies... four from Alpine and three from Forest...

 

I haven't been racing to catch them. I'm trying to catch at least one egg a day for the whole year and so far I am succeeding. Sometimes I get more than one egg a day... If I miss a day, as I sometimes do, then I wait for an egg in the AB until one with the right laying date comes along... lol

My release-date hatchies gendered correctly! These guys are so pretty that I'll definitely hoard and breed long PB lineages. <3
