Because it almost happens that way. He uses TJ magic to make half of them revert to hatchies and freezes them

Oh okay I gotcha! Haha I tend to always miss new releases so I'm still learning

TJ always gets one of each sprite, which includes a gendered hatchling. I don't think he has any S1 babies. If his new release hatchlings grow up, he reverts them back to S2 hatchlings when he has the time.

Just three more hours until my first batch of hatchlings grows up! They're all from the Forest biome (second batch is all Alpine); I think I'll try breeding one pair PB, and the other pair to heat-related dragons, in the hopes that all you need to produce a yellow is to simmer it!

my female with code IFLsL is "Petite Fille Undies

 

and my male with code czBUG is "Bugs in the Briefs"
