Posted July 9, 2014 (edited) So yeah here's another thread from resident 17 year old derp artist/Monster Hunter fanatic. Only no pastel or digital art, sorry. Linearts only! Fully finished, fully detailed linearts! That I call sketches. Let's cut the chatter and cut to the chase! Slots 1: Sharlykng 2: Tiga 3: Kojayo55 What I'll Draw Realism! Animals of any kind, winged, finned, arthropodic, hoofed, furred, scaled, feathered, real, mythical, Pokemon... Supporting scenery. I don't draw fully fledged backgrounds in pencil. DC dragons, provided the artists say yes. Most objects, both manufactured and naturalistic. Violence and gore. Skeletal things, such as skulls. What I Won't Draw Chibi/stylised Humans (though other hominids are fine, and anthro animals) Structures like buildings. Just... perspective... /flips table Overly explicate and suggestive things. Or even mildly suggestive. I'm a little iffy with drawing such things. Rules • Three. Slots. Only. Once full, wait until I say one's free before requesting! • Don't try to make me draw something I won't. • Pictures with more than one subject and/or shading must be paid for (see below) • I'll take days to get just one of these done. I'm working on designs for others plus lots of designs and concept art for a personal project, and each one on average takes three to seven hours, or more if shaded. • I will do works with my characters in them if you so wish, but don't claim ownership to that character. • Likewise, DC dragon artworks must stay on the forums. • Do not call my artwork your own, edit and alter without permission or use for profit. • Be nice! I'm a very friendly person but I bite hard. • Constructive criticism is welcome, bashing is not. • No, I can't do signature sizes. Payment Most art I'll do for free, but I really, really appreciate eggs/hatchlings as payment or even just common hatchlings as tips! ESPECIALLY if your request includes more than one subject or is very complex. I'm working on these scroll goals: 5 CB males and 5 CB females of each breed, likewise bred; for unbreedables and hybrids that is ten of each gender, for genderless that is twenty. I like third - fifth even gens most! Request Form I Would Like to Make a Request! Forum Name: Subject(s): (be detailed, and preferably with a picture ref) Pose, angle: (again, be detailed, please!) Posted July 10, 2014 (edited) I Would Like to Make a Request! Forum Name: Tiga Subject(s): Just a normal Griffon. Pose, angle: In mid air, wings expanded and front claws out is if to strike. Scenery: Stormy clouds (don't shade too much or it will be too dark ) with a strike of lightning behind. Props: N/A Shading: Yes on the Griffon. Lighting: The lighting is from the lightning, Other: N/A Payment? Anything on my scroll Thank you!~~ Edited July 10, 2014 by Tiga Share this post Link to post
Posted July 10, 2014 Accepted :3 Normal griffon as in half lion, half bald eagle? Being the most common kind out there? It won't be completely 'normal' because I like to hybridise them quite thoroughly - no bird heads stuck on cat bodies! Share this post Link to post
Posted July 10, 2014 Dang, dude! Your art is very nice... very technically competent. Great job, keep up the good work! =o [i especially like the skulls, hehe~] Share this post Link to post
Posted July 10, 2014 Eeeeeeee thank you Zovesta <3 Glad to know my studies are paying off! yes skulls are awesome, and fun to draw and I'm doing more because why not 8D Share this post Link to post

I thought they would be the most common kind of winged cat out there. :3 Share this post Link to post
Posted July 10, 2014 Okay! Looking forward to working on your request because I love extreme lighting such as the kind you get from lightning c: why must lighting and lightning be so similar oh god why I'm currently drawing a dorsal view of Lankharra which is taking a little while, but I'll start work on Sharly's request right after~ In the meantime, here's a WIP sketch of a taxidermy crocodile. I draw an inanimate subject at a somewhat nearby museum every Wednesday and that's where I drew the bear skull. Share this post Link to post
Posted July 10, 2014 Oooooh oh boy oh boy I want to request things Don't know what to request actually (I am intimidated by the form) but I could provide some very gorgeous Geode babies ;3 In fact why don't you just take one anyway I haven't bred these guys in ages wow what the heck me Share this post Link to post
Posted July 10, 2014 Yesyesyes please request! Noooo don't be intimidated by the form, it's a nice form that likes to be petted and given snickerdoodles. And yes pretty Geodes I love them omg <3 grabby hands Share this post Link to post
Posted July 15, 2014 pft if the person above isn't doing it, I'd like to steal the spotlight I Would Like to Make a Request! Forum Name: Kojayo55 Subject(s): link - Um very mystic, silver looking with the exceptions of blue ear insides, tail ring, and tribal face markings. And very noticeable blue eyes. Snow leopards are powerful and strong creatures, but also small and fluffy, so you might want to look up a few snow leopards pictures for ref before jumping in on it since they're really quite unique. Pose, angle: gah I really don't care. Maybe standing as if on the top of a mountain or jumping down from a ledge. Scenery: Something snowy. Props: Maybe some kind of blue aura? Not required. Shading: Completely up to you Lighting: ^ Other: It's really up to you how much you want to get into it or go about it. Also, please pm me when / if you complete it. I tend to lose track of threads like this, unfortunately. Payment? I'll tip you if that's okay. c: Share this post Link to post
Posted July 15, 2014 Aaaaaah I love snow leopards and I love drawing the killer fluffballs <3 Alright, you're accepted. I might decide on minimal shading, nothing too heavy like in my example arts... but we'll see o3o Sharly's request will be started tonight. Share this post Link to post

Posted August 25, 2014 (edited) oH my GOODNESS I left this thread for too long! Thank you so much everyone <3 Sharly, I'm afraid I haven't done much more on your request yet ; It rather doesn't help that half of my art time has been taken up with reconstructing creatures for the local museum. So far I have completed a Meiolania Platyceps and I've just finished the last linearts of a Thylacoleo Carnifex which I shall show here - all four stages! The ugly messy sketch Further detailing and proportional adjustments Yet more refinement, and proportional adjustments Final version! Same stages I use for every one of my artworks, give or take. I also did a little further work for my comic Scarred, especially on characters, critters, Tevurian culture and the relationship between the Northern and Southern Hemispheres. I've been trying to get a fully detailed skeleton of a female Thanvei finished but I've only managed to complete the sketch. Link Lankharra, however, has finally been finalised for good. Two years it took, stupid uncooperative dragon. Here's a dorsal view to really show off how screwed up his left side is. Link And a Khasrian native has been designed (literally finished it not more than an hour ago). This one is thanks to a collaborative effort between me and a friend. She came up with the initial idea and sketch, and after some discussion as to what its features should be, its lifestyle etc, I drew up the finished creature. They basically wear the skulls of larger creatures on their heads (held in place with two long prehensile tendrils), live in cave systems and feed by prising medusozoas off the walls and ceiling with those long tendril things on the sides of their mouth. This one is wearing the skull of a juvenile burega Edited August 25, 2014 by rampaging wyvern Share this post Link to post
