Usually I draw to destress but during these past weeks at school (midterms etc.) I couldn't do it at all, I felt that either I was on a block on what to draw or that everything I've drawn during that period was garbage. Posted May 5, 2017 (edited) Yes, you could call it a style and it looks alright. But I wish I could choose what style I want to shoot for instead of being limited by my skillset. (That's why I'm not a fan of people saying "don't critique, that's my style!" only because that's the only way they can draw). More to work on later, I guess! ~~~ I've also realized that I have more than enough backlog of sketchbook pages to post here every time I post, so here we go with the most recent one: Some stuff on that self-indulgent comic I'm working on. After seeing those step by step processes (the ones like these) and being frustrated that I'm basically still at step one most of the time, I'm going to put sketching on hold and exclusively work on painting/details. It's like the second time I've used Clip Studio Paint since I bought it on sale two years ago, but dang it's so much more friendly than Photoshop when it comes to painting (for one, the preset brushes do blending for you!).
